We normally have 3 dishes for dinner – a must-have stir-fried vegetables, a fish or a chicken and an egg or tofu dish or another vegetables dish. Are these a lot? Hubby usually doesn’t join us for dinner as he works late and doesn’t like bland food (what an insult to my cooking eh?) catered for toddlers. So these dishes are only for the 2 girls, my maid and I. If hubby wants to eat, I will leave some dishes for him.
Yesterday we had a fried fish with blended tomato & bombay onions (sauce), a stir-fried chinese cabbage with homemade fish paste, a chicken dish (left over from previous night’s dinner), a fried egg for the girls and a radish & chicken soup . Are these a lot? Most of my friends say that’s really a lot as they normally only have 2 dishes for dinner.Â

Is a lot for me…usually, we only have 1 fried veg or veg soup, and 1 chicken/fish/meat…that’s all, and even can’t finish it….
LOL! That piece of fried egg looks like all yolk.
MommaDiary…. you are so right! It’s a fried egg yolk coz I used the egg white to make the fish paste! You are sooo observant!
It is a lot of food leh. You are making me soooo hungry đ
i think your hubs is just like mine. got too used to eating outside food, so food at home is pretty much tasteless.
i think 3 dishes is just perfect. our menu is pretty much the same like yours.
it depends on the quantity one. if got three dishes but less quantity oso enuff ma..
