Whenever Alycia and Sherilyn talk non-stop during lunch or dinner with their mouth full of food, I’ll tell them this “don’t talk when you eat.\u00a0 Your mouth is full of food”.<\/p>\n

The gals’ former nanny came over for dinner this evening.\u00a0 I was busy talking to her whilst I was eating.\u00a0 I was also reprimanding Sherilyn for not chewing and swallowing her food.\u00a0 These days Sherilyn does not like being reprimanded and will pout her lips or answer me back.\u00a0 When she saw me talking non-stop to the nanny, she said this as she wagged her forefinger “mummy, don’t talk when you eat<\/em>“.\u00a0 I then ignored her and continued to talk to the nanny.\u00a0 She then changed the sentence and said\u00a0louder, “mummy…. don’t eat when you talk<\/em>!”\u00a0<\/p>\n

What can I say coz I know\u00a0I should practise what I preach?\u00a0 I was speechless…. and the nanny and I just laughed out loud.\u00a0 Kids are really smart these days. So next time, I must be careful what I preach and make sure I practise what I preach!<\/p>\n
