Bulk Vending Machine Business

Lately, I’ve been toying with some ideas on starting my own home-based business. There are a few businesses that I am interested in, among which is to set up my own online store selling baby items and the latest idea is a franchise business in bulk candy vending machines. This idea came about when I saw Alycia and other kids going crazy over these gumballs and toy capsules vending machines. The other day, daddy spent $8 on just 1 toy capsule on a vending machine for Alycia and there was a long queue of kids waiting to insert coins into the vending machine at a shopping mall. So this idea struck me. What a good 100% cash business this is. I’ve asked a friend of mine for advise and he asked me to check out vendstar, an established manufacturer of bulk vending machines that can get me into the bulk vending machine business. If I get to earn enough money from writing paid posts, I’ll definitely give this bulk vending machine business a great thought.

Ranting – Writing Paid Posts

I have just written and submitted a post for a review company. It has so many requirements attached to the offer in complicated instructions I almost went berserk. I had accepted this offer in the morning at about 9am and only managed to submit the post at 12noon. There were just too much disruptions in between. Lately, my 2 gals, especially Sherilyn, want so much of my attention. They want me to sit with them to do things with them almost the entire day! I am trying to concentrate typing but my 2 gals are constantly whining and fussing and tugging me. I tell you, I can go crazy like this. Lately, they also do not want to nap during the daytime, so that leaves me with no time to do my paid posts. That’s the reason why I have to wake up at ungodly hours in the wee hours of the morning to complete my assignments.

I have not been visiting many of my friends’ blogs lately as most of my time is just spent trying to complete assignments, reading to my gals, playing puzzles with them, drawing with them, attending to their wishes, whimps and fancies, etc. etc. Sorry…. i’ll try and drop by your blog today and kay poh to see what’s been happening. I still have a few more uncompleted assignments but i’ll give myself a rest first.

Aarrrggh…. Alycia is whining again screaming “i want mummy, i want mummy, i dont want kakak!!! “

Sherilyn Has Super Itchy Fingers

Sherilyn has super duper itchy fingers. Daddy had brought back Mickey and Pooh Bear from the storeroom in his office a couple of days ago. The gals has so many toys I had to keep some in our house storeroom and another batch in daddy’s office. We bring out the ‘ new old toys’ once in a while and keep the current old ones so that they have ‘new’ toys to play with all the time.

Within half an hour of playing with the ‘new’ Mickey Mouse toy after daddy had brought it back, I saw Sherilyn sitting quietly on the floor digging out Mickey’s eyes. When daddy asked her why she dug out Mickey’s eyes, Sherilyn’s reply was “got poop inside the eyes.” Daddy then asked her where she had kept Mickey’s eyes, Sherilyn replied “flooded away di.” Super good excuses!

Yesterday, she removed Pooh Bear’s t-shirt and Mickey’s shorts and tried to wear them but they got stuck on her legs. This brat is always bursting with ideas. Sometimes I dont know whether to laugh or get mad at her. She makes me fuming mad yet never fails to douse off the fire raging in my head with her antics.

Writing Paid Posts

This particular review company has not been releasing offers for almost 5 days. Most of my blogger friends also wonder why this company has not been releasing any offers for so long. Last night, they finally released one offer into my url but it’s on the same topic again. I accepted it anyway as I love this review company. They answer your e-mails promptly and are a good paymaster. 60% of my revenue is from this review company. One bad thing about this company is that they require you to have 2 non-paid posts between their paid posts which means that if I write 3 paid posts for this company in one day, i need to write 6 non-paid posts in between!

I hit the sack at 11ish pm last night as I was really worn out after days of waking up at ungodly hours to grab offers and to complete my assignments. I woke up at 5:30am this morning to complete some of my assignments and I still have a few more to complete.

It’s 6:30am now. I’m going to write one more review and then I’ll head outside to my porch to jump on my trampoline. I love my work-out sessions as most of my ideas on writing start pouring out during this time.

Magic Disney Towel

What do you think this is? Does it look like a cookie or a notepad? No, this is a magic Disney cotton towel which SIL bought from Hong Kong. When I saw it the first time, I’d thought it was a cookie or notepad.

To ‘open up’ the towel, the towel is to be soaked in water for a few seconds.

When it’s fully soaked in water, the towel opens up easily, like the petals of a flower blooming.

The person who came up with this idea is really ingenious and creative. What a cool souvenier this is.

Chip n Dale Purse

My SIL bought Alycia and Sherilyn 2 identical Chin N Dale purses from Hong Kong Disneyland recently but the gals are still fighting over the purses every single day. When one of them looses the purse and can’t find it, the fight begins over the other remaining purse. The fight got out of hand a couple of days ago with a tug of war over the remaining purse and Miss Pukey Sherilyn ended up crying until she puked. My maid and I had to search high and low for the lost purse in the house. When it was finally found under her pillow (she had brought it to sleep), I had to write their names on the purses and warned them that nobody gets to take each other’s purse again. There has been no more fights over the purses since.

Crazy Blog Marathon

The last 2 days have been crazy for me as I’ve been going on a blog marathon. Today, I’ve written 13 posts, of which 7 were paid posts and 6 non-paid posts. I still have a few more uncompleted assignments. This is really crazy. I’ve got less than 5 hours sleep for 3 straight days. I was still ok the whole of today but now as I’m typing this post at 10:15pm, my head is spinning and my eye lids are drooping. I better get some sleep and not wake up at ungodly hours again tonight just to grab some offers. I’ll just put the gals to sleep now, sorry no bedtime stories, mummy is too tired (i’ve already read them a few books and also let them rule for 1/2 hr on the computer today) and I’ll sleep thru the night and wake up early tomorrow morning feeling fresh to start work before working out on my trampoline and then head for church. Good night everyone. No OT tonight!

Hard To Get Them Nap

Lately, I’ve been having a hard time getting Alycia and Sherilyn to nap in the afternoon. They used to take their afternoon nap at 2:30pm, latest by 3pm but now, they don’t even appear worn out or sleepy at 4pm or 5pm. I thought they no longer require their daytime naps but I was wrong coz by 6pm, they would go super cranky if they don’t get their dose of daytime nap. Now, I have to resort to holding a cane to threaten them to take their nap each day. I hate to do this but that’s the only way to get them to sleep. Last night, the same thing happened. I was so frazzled and sleepy at around 11ish pm but the gals’ batteries seem to be still full to the brim. So again I brought out the cane and they quickly ran back to bed and dozed off after much fuss. I fell asleep clutching to the cane and woke up at 12:30am to ease myself, then crept downstairs to do some work on the computer and went back to bed an hour later. It’s really tough being a WFHM.

Working Out On My Trampoline

My knees have been hurting me lately as I’ve been jogging uphill a lot these days. Jogging uphill is a strenuous exercise and it burns up more calories. I feel more worked out and sweat more when I jog uphill. Sometimes when I don’t get enough sleep, it makes me breathless too. I decided today that I should give my knees a rest, so I worked out by jumping and dancing on my trampoline instead as trampoline takes your body pressure off your leg. If you want to find a good way of working out and not hurt your legs too much, get a trampoline. It’s inexpensive, fun and you get to stay in shape. Oh, I also like to jump on the trampoline with my gals, they love it.

Eczema Again

Alycia’s eczema has been dormant for months but for the last 1 week, it flared up again. This is the worst eczema outbreak. Her face is covered with rough rashes and the skin under her eyes looks red and rough. The redness under her eyes made her look so sick. There are also patches of red rashes on her palm, under her nostrils, above her lips, on her neck and patches of what look like bruises as a result of excessive scratching on her arms, buttocks and behind her thighs. She has not been eating anything new so I can’t pinpoint what is causing the eczema. It could be due to the hot weather lately coz she tends to have rashes whenever it’s hot and when she sweats profusely.

Anyway, I have been boiling a concoction of purple flower water with brown sugar for her and it seems to help in reducing the rashes. I shall blog about the healing properties of this purple flower soon.

Jigsaw Puzzle

Alycia and Sherilyn love jigsaw puzzles. Alycia is quite good with them and can easily fix a 30-piece jigsaw puzzle in under 10 minutes. I had always thought that Alycia lacks attention span but when it comes to jigsaw puzzles, she can spend close to 1 hour quietly and intently fixing the puzzle. So whenever I need to get some work done, I’ll just let her play with her puzzles and get her to teach Sherilyn the tricks to fixing a jigsaw puzzle. I intend to get her some new jigsaw puzzles with more pieces, probably a 100-piece one so that she will spend longer time fixing them and I get longer time to do my work!

PayPal Money Finally Withdrawn

Yay! Today, i finally transferred my 2nd batch of $$ in my PayPal account into my elder brother’s account in Singapore. My brother will then cash out the money for me and pass it to me next month when we meet up in Ipoh. As for my 1st batch of $$, it’s still in my 1st PayPal account and I’ll transfer it to my sil’s US bank account later. Pretty troublesome…. don’t know when PayPal will ever solve the glitch.

Green Tea cookies

I am a great fan of green tea. I love to eat anything that has green tea in it. I especially love macha or green tea ice-cream. I even add green tea powder into my home-made bread. I recently bought this brand of green tea cookies made in Taiwan from Jaya Jusco. Some of the ingredients in this green tea cookies are green tea powder, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, peanuts, pumpkin seeds and soya lecithin. Quite tasty and costs RM7+ per pack.

I Am So Happy My PPP Application Is Approved

So Much For Just 1 Week

When my hubby does grocery shopping or marketing, he loves buying in bulk. Instead of buying 5 oranges for 1 week, he’d normally buy 20 oranges. This is how much he bought from the pasar malam several days ago. He does our marketing once a week at the pasar malam but with this much fruits and vegetables that he had bought, they can last us for 2 weeks.
