Breast Cancer – How Hydrogen Water and Carotenoids Can Help

Still Hazy – 17 September 2015

This morning, I had to skip swimming and brisk-walking outside as it was drizzling plus the air was just so so so choking bad!! The moment I woke up and opened the sliding door, I could smell smog!

The picture below was taken at about 7am.

The dust monitor on our Sharp air purifier showed RED which signifies high dust particles in the air.

I quickly hopped over to the Official Air Pollutant Index site to check the readings but dang it, the readings were not updated. I also hopped to the Ministry of Education website to see if there was any announcement on school closure again but there was no update.

Today should have been declared another day of school holiday. I am so worried for all the kids out there breathing in smog and having their lungs choked. The past few days, the girls and I have been downing packets of Izumio hydrogen water and Super Lutein to clear our lungs and to stay healthy and thank God, we are still fine and dandy with no sore throat, no eye irritation and no flu. The 2 girls at our block who join Cass for swimming are down with sore throat and flu again and Cass’ swimming class had to be cancelled yesterday. My First Diamond Coral Gold Water Filter

H20 consists of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. This substance also known as water, is one of the most essential elements to our body and all living things in this planet.

Staying Healthy During The Haze

The haze situation over here in the Klang Valley ain’t getting any better, despite there being a brief heavy shower yesterday. The smell of smog can be smelled from inside our house for the past one week. I wonder when this yearly menace will ever stop. This year the haze came late. Normally, the yearly haze would shroud our clear blue skies around June for about 1-2 months. This year June, we were still having blue skies and showers. I thought we were spared this year! But I didn’t get to rejoice for long as the haze started to make its appearance towards the end of August 🙁

Treating Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s With Hydrogen Water

My maternal grandma suffered from Alzheimer’s for about a year before her passing. My heart was crushed when my mum called me one day when I was in college to inform me that por por suffered a stroke and had lost her memory. My por por was our babysitter and she took very good care of my brothers and me when dad mom were at work. Her cooking was superb and she was a very caring granny. Treating Dengue Fever With Hydrogen Water

Several months back, a friend of mine nearly lost her husband to hemorrahagic dengue fever. Her husband was hospitalized for almost 3 months. He had partial loss of memory, his liver and kidneys almost failed him, he had to be intubated and now he has to undergo rehab and physiotherapy. Thank God he survived this deadly disease caused by just one unassuming tiny mosquito.

Oxidative Stress

Our body is made up of cells. Our cells have DNA within the nucleus that is bound by Hydrogen bonds. Can you see how relevant Hydrogen is to our cells? There was a customer who drank hydrogen water and had her defected gene mutated.

The act of breathing produces free radicals, just like a car producing exhaust fumes when you add petrol into it (our food). Update On Cassandra’s Road To Recovery From Incontinence

It’s been 2 1/2 months since Cass started consuming Izumio hydrogen water to treat her incontinence and I am still very pleased with the results.

Cass has reduced the usage of diapers by more than half since she consumed Izumio. She only wears them when she is in school, when we are out for long outings and when she sleeps at night. During the day at home, she is completely off diapers. Before she started consuming Izumio, she had to be diapered 24 hours a day. She had severe involuntary urine dribbling. According to her doctor, this is one of the symptoms of a patient with high grade kidney reflux. The kidney reflux problem has since been fixed with a surgery at 13 months old. This could also be that the nerves and muscles of her urinary tract are weakened as a result of 2 major surgeries when she was still a baby with delicate organs, nerves and muscles still growing. The surgeons whom she is seeing cannot pinpoint what exactly is wrong internally that’s causing the incontinence though Cass had gone through a battery of invasive tests.

Today, she accomplished yet another milestone in her journey to recovery!

We had wanted to go to Mid Valley Megamall for shopping but the traffic into Mid Valley was horrendous! We spent over an hour stuck in the traffic and had to detour as all the entrance points into Mid Valley Megamall and Gardens were FULL. So I drove to Bangsar and went to BSC instead. All the while in the car, I kept asking Cass if she had leaked and if she felt like peeing and she said NO.

Cass was off diapers and only wore a regular pad today. I normally get her to put on a diaper when we are out. Today, I wanted her to break the norm and move on to be diaper-free when we go out. She has to start somewhere and I chose today.

When we finally reached BSC, I quickly brought her to the washroom to ease herself. I was delighted when I saw that the pad was dry though she had held on for over an hour! Then we went to have lunch and 1.5 hours later, I brought her to the washroom again. What a joy when I saw that the pad was still dry! If you have a child who has battled with bladder problems all her life, seeing a dry pad would mean A LOT to you! The joy is immeasurable!

In the past before Cass started to consume Izumio, she would soak through a 42cm long pad and the pee would seep onto the underwear in just 20 minutes. What she has accomplished today is indeed a very big mile stone. Previously, the urine leakage would be even worse whenever we were out shopping and had to walk a fair bit. Any rapid movement of her legs would exacerbate the leakage. I wouldn’t say that there is a 100% healing yet as I know that Cass’ bladder muscles and nerves are still weak but they are definitely on the road to recovery. Based on my own observation, there is a 60-70% recovery now. We still have a lot to work on together to strengthen her muscles, nerves and sphincters.

I believe that her muscles, nerves and sphincters were in a ‘comatose’ state but were revived when she started to drink Izumio hydrogen water.

The Fear Of Getting Cancer

This morning, I went to the hospital to do the remaining medical tests — blood test, urine test and ECG. I was in a rush yesterday and only managed to have the pap smear, Mammogram and chest x-ray done.

The moment I reached the hospital this morning, the nurse told me that my gynae has ordered me to do an ultrasound scan of my breasts. The nurse told me that the Mammogram yesterday showed ‘something’ and the doctor wanted the ultrasound scan done to find out more. I asked the nurse if it’s something bad but she was reluctant to let me know – that’s the standard ethics which nurses have to abide to. OMG, my first thought was “Am I doomed? What if it’s cancer? I don’t want to suffer and I don’t want to die yet!” I was paralyzed with fear and worries.

I had so many unfounded fears and what if’s running in my mind in the one hour I sat outside the clinic waiting for the doctor cum radiologist to attend to me. Suddenly, I felt that my super hectic life with 3 high-maintenance children is really nothing to complain about. Money issues, personal issues and work issues suddenly seemed so paltry vs. being stricken with cancer. Sitting at the clinic made me realize once again just how important good health is to me and to anyone. You can only run around as busy as a beaver doing so many things every single day ONLY if you are healthy.

This little scare has thrown me back into perspective as regards how I live my life. As I sat in the hospital, I told myself not to complain about being super busy, tired and having no time for myself anymore. As long as I don’t have the big C, I don’t mind living a very hectic life – minding my kids and making money. I have always complained to God that I have too hectic a life. I told Him that I really wanted a good rest and sleep. Now I know that being able to rest and sleep all day may not be what I really want. Only sickly people get to rest and sleep all day! I want to be up and running. And I also told myself that I will do anything for myself and for my kids to buy us good health.

Finally, the doctor cum radiologist arrived. I was told to change into a white gown and lie down for her to perform the scan and then… the scan showed that there were 2 water cysts on my left breast (measuring less than 2cm) and 1 water cyst and several other very tiny water cysts on the right breast. I asked the doctor if these are dangerous and she said that I can leave them alone. As long as the cysts do not cause any pain, swelling and fever, I can leave them alone. If the cysts become too big till they can be profoundly felt externally, then my gynae would have to aspirate them out via a simple procedure. I’ll just need my bi-yearly ultrasound scans to monitor them. She also pointed out the cysts to me on the monitor — which are black oval like lumps. However, if the cysts are GREY in color on the monitor, then these are tumours/growth and would need to be removed for biopsy. I guess I have my mother’s genes. She is also very prone to getting water cysts in her breasts 🙁

After going through a mere 1 hour of agony, I have decided to love and appreciate my health and that of my kids’ even more. As it is, I think I am already doing my level best to ensure that my kids and myself have good health. I prepare only healthy meals, I make sure they have their daily dose of fresh fruit smoothie and I give them supplements. Now, on supplements – this I have to admit that all these while, I have only placed extra care and attention in this area on Cass as she has the most problems, while for Alycia and Sherilyn, I tend to lax a teeny wee bit when it comes to ensuring that they pop their supplements on a daily basis. I have made up my mind that I should give myself and my kids the best supplements to ensure that their health is protected, though it may mean that I would have to fork out even more every month.

Hydrogen Water and Carotenoids For Fever

On Friday I was still well, despite feeling a tad exhausted. For the past 1 month, sleep-ins on Saturdays have been a luxury of the past. Alycia has to attend compulsory tuition in school on Saturdays in preparation for the UPSR exam in September. So my Saturdays are just like any other school-going day, with my day beginning at 4:45am and I was going from badly sleep deprived to chronically sleep deprived, with a maximum of 5.5 hours sleep a day.

Thus, with only Sundays to repay my heavy sleep debt, this is way not sufficient! How long more can I lay in bed when at the back of my mind, there are 1001 things to be done?! Chronic lack of sleep is damaging ok — you turn foggy and grumpy, it dumbs you down, lowers your immune system, lowers sex drive and may even increase risk of death! I am clearly aware of all these but unless you are in my shoes, you will never know how much I have on my plate and how I wish there were 2 extra hours in a day for me to sleep! I can sacrifice all my entertainment and social life but definitely not my beauty sleep!

On Saturday, after dragging my butt out from bed at 5am with a heavy head, I did some house chores and after Alycia had gone to school, I went back to sleep… on Cass’ bed. Cass got up at 7am and she asked me not to worry about her. She stroked my head and face, kissed me and went about to do her own stuff while I lay half-dead on the bed. Again, I dragged myself out of bed at 8am to make fruit smoothie for the girls and to bring Sherilyn to the tuition centre. Then, had breakfast with Cass and hubs. Back home, I forced myself to mop the floor and wash the bathrooms, did several loads of laundry and did some chauffeuring. Weekends are no-maid days. I dozed off while sitting in with Cass in her piano class (hopefully her teacher did not see me snoozing away at the corner of the class haha!). Back home, I was getting chills, had bad headache, body ache, eye ball ache, zero appetite and my legs felt as if they have been flogged repeatedly by a heavy object. My body felt like a burning charcoal but I felt cold. I am certain that I had fever. But I persevered. I drank 3 packets of Izumio hydrogen water and popped 4 Super Lutein throughout the day. In between doing house chores, I stole some time to nap on the bed. Yeah, on the bed! I hardly ever nap on the bed during the day and if I do, I got to be really sick.

My mind was still raring to break free and shop but my body was weak. So he brought us to a nearby new Japanese eatery for dinner. Hubs ordered all my favorite dishes but I had zilch appetite. I only shared some Chawan Mushi with the girls that night.

I told hubs and my Charlie’s Angels that I was pretty certain I was going to be down with Dengue Fever as I had all the symptoms of Dengue and I remembered I was bitten by some farking mozzies too! For the last 2 weeks, I have had over 5 friends and their kids who were down with Dengue Fever. A friend’s hubby nearly lost his life and was hospitalized for over a month for Hemorrhagic Dengue Fever. His lungs and kidneys failed him. We were all praying for his recovery and he had just been discharged after over a month in the hospital, drifting in and out of consciousness and losing part of his memory too. I had all the symptoms of Dengue Fever (I Googled to check on the symptoms!). I told hubs to be prepared to take over all my roles should I get admitted to the hospital. I prayed fervently to God that I would be spared from the deadly Dengue Fever. My kids need me and I just can’t be hospitalized.

All that I ate on Saturday was half a bowl of bitter gourd pork noodles with Cass for breakfast, fruit smoothie, 2 oranges, 2 golden kiwis, 1 huge mug of fresh coconut water, lots of water and some Chawan Mushi. Along with 3 packets of Izumio hydrogen water, 4 Super Lutein capsules and almost 10 hours of sleep from 10pm through 7ish am on Sunday, I woke up feeling 101% well and energetic! Woohoo, I couldn’t be happier waking up feeling SO renewed and recharged. The girls were delighted when I told them that I was well enough to go to church with them!

Today, I had so much energy that I could lightly jog 3 laps and then adjourned to the gym and worked out for another half an hour on the Air Walker.

Did I also mention that ever since I consumed Izumio hydrogen water and Super Lutein, the cold numbness and pins and needles on my hands have been reduced? I can’t say that it is 100% gone but the discomfort have certainly been reduced, so much that I can even sleep on my sides without waking up like an invalid having to shake my hands and fingers to restore them to function!

So yes, Izumio and Super Lutein worked on bringing down my fever. I have friends who have since stopped bringing their kids to the paed’s office for fever meds. They feed their young kids and babies with Izumio and Super Lutein and the fever usually subside within 24 hours.

I am again spreading this hope to everyone out there with an ailment. There’s a cure to whatever ailment that you are suffering from. I have faith that all my ailments and disorders will be cured and controlled and so will yours as long as you’re willing to give yourself a chance.

Down With Flu – Super Lutein To The Rescue

I have been down with the sniffles for the past two days (see, month of May is really jinx!), no thanks to the girl who brought back the woeful virus from school and spread it to everyone!

Yesterday I felt so bushed and lackluster that I popped 6 caps of Super Lutein (double my usual dosage) and voila, today I am feeling so much better! Nose not runny and no more sneezing anymore and I could even brisk-walk 5 laps and walked up the stairs to the 5th floor of my unit this morning!

So what’s the best food for someone who is down with a flu?

For dinner yesterday, I was craving for something soupy so I made a big pot of prawn and anchovies soup with a whole head of organic cabbage, tomatoes, fish balls (bought from our day trip to Sekinchan on Sunday) and tofu fish cake, to go with meehoon. Yes, another 1-pot dish!

The soup is cooked by lightly frying the prawn heads (I used 8 big prawn heads), chopped garlic and 2 handfuls of anchovies with a little oil and let to simmer for an hour. The aroma of the soup can send you to food heaven, literally!

Tip: For busy mothers, you can prepare a large pot of soup and store them in separate containers in the freezer for future use. The soup can be used for noodles or you can just add veggies and meat into the soup to make it a one-pot dish on busy nights.

Hydrogen Water Facts

My dear friend who introduced me to Izumio Hydrogen Water attended a seminar on hydrogen water in Singapore and later in KL a few days ago. She has jotted down notes from the seminar and shared them with me. Now, let me share with you the goodness of hydrogen water.

Hydrogen Facts

1. Even when a heart stops beating, Hydrogen gas can be administered in patients to resuscitate them or via Hydrogen through an IV drip.

2. Hydrogen water is used in Japan now in sterile treatments, for example, to increase probability of pregnancies.

Symptoms of A Body Detox

About a week after I started taking Izumio hydrogen water and Super Lutein, I started to have rashes on my right arm. The rashes first erupted with an itch, followed by a layer of bumpy rash on the surface of the skin. I knew that the rashes are one of the symptoms of a body detox, where the body will eliminate toxins from within.

Initially, I could not understand why the rashes appeared only on my right arm – not left arm and not anywhere else. Then it suddenly dawned on me that only my right arm is problematic! I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) on my right hand when Alycia was only 2 months old. The CTS went away a few months later (coincidentally) when I was taking antibiotics for severe bronchitis. But the CTS has now appeared in another form – hand numbness with pins and needles. Every single morning. It is so bad that on some mornings, I could not even lift my arm up. See how intelligent the products work. They will heal the part of the body that requires repairing. Though I still have pins and needles on my right arm now, they are not as intense as it used to be. I am curious to know how long I need to consume the products before my hand is totally healed.

Cass displayed more extreme detox symptoms. A week after taking Izumio hydrogen water (3 packs a day), she experienced leg pain, headache, mild body aches, watery stools and sore throat. However, she still needs to wear diapers when she is in school and when we are out. However, before they make their final exit, the toxins are released into the bloodstream then carried through the circulatory system and this may result in other physical symptoms. Some of these symptoms include body aches and pains, cravings or withdrawal, nausea or vomiting, clogged sinuses, constipation or diarrhea, coughing, fever, flu or cold-type symptoms, bad breath, gas, headaches and stomach aches. Toxins are often eliminated through the skin as well and this can result in acne, rashes, or other skin issues. Irritability and Moodiness

Someone is very excited as she is opening a box of treasure!

It’s a box of health treasure – Izumio hydrogen water, all the way from Japan!

For those of you who know me well, I am not someone who can be easily convinced to buy a product, especially if it’s one from MLM companies, more so if the products are expensive. I can be a very hard nut to crack. The person who sells me the product must be darn convincing plus I will do my own research first before I part with my money. For half a year, I googled Izumio and hydrogen water, trying to find faults with it but I could find none.

I got to know of Izumio hydrogen water about half a year ago when my very good blogger friend started taking it for her heart disorder and slipped disc. She got healed from slipped disc after taking Izumio and Super Lutein for 6 months (both products are from Naturally Plus). Since then, she has been taking these two products religiously. A friend of ours who has been taking these 2 products for years looks radiant. As a bonus for consuming the products and introducing them to other people, she is now getting a huge ‘thank you bonus’ from the company that sells it, in the region of 5 figures, every month!! Don’t you just wish that you could do that too?!

Finally I took the plunge, though the products are very expensive! Mainly because I am hoping that Izumio and Super Lutein can help to heal Cass from incontinence. Cass also seriously needs a detox for her body from all the radiation and toxins from drugs that she has been exposed to since birth. For the first 15 months of her life, she had to take antibiotics ON A DAILY BASIS as she had monthly UTI attacks caused by a Grade 3 Kidney Reflux and a Duplex right kidney with duplex ureters. On some serious attacks, she needed antibiotics via IV and hospitalization. Thank God, the problem is now fixed after a complex Uretheral Reimplantation surgery when she was 13 months old. But she still has another problem to deal with, which is urine dribbling. This is my last ditch effort in trying to heal Cass naturally vs. CT scans and invasive diagnostic tests (these tests emit radiation into your body). Plus, I have not been in top form myself for almost a year. The fibroid in my uterus is causing me super heavy menses every month and the bleeding would go on for 14 days. Every single month. Can you imagine how tired and lackluster I feel everyday from being anemic? From a powerful horse that can run twice a day (half an hour each session) just 5 years ago, I no longer have the stamina to run each morning. I have now cut down on running to light jogging, brisk walking and air-walking in the gym.

I thought to myself that I have nothing to lose and everything to gain as my kids and I are consuming the products for good health. Today is day 11 that Cass is taking Izumio. Day 2 for me – I am taking Izumio and Super Lutein. I am so excited to tell you that I FEEL GREAT and NOT TIRED anymore after just 2 days on Izumio and Super Lutein! Yesterday I was like a blue-arsed fly rushing everything off as it was our maid-free day. I cooked, cleaned up, coached Cass in homework, did chaufeurring, shopping and I was asking myself “heck, how come I am not tired and did not doze off on my massage chair by 11pm? Why was I still feeling so insomniac??” I am amazed! I have never been insomniac ever since my kids came along!

As for Cass, on day 6, she experienced some detox symptoms. She told me that her leg was painful, throat was sore, headaches came in waves and randomly and she told me that her whole body ached. She also had loose stools. I thought that she was going to fall sick! Then I remembered that these could be symptoms of a body detoxification. I quickly did a google search and yes, those aches and pains were indeed symptoms of the body detoxing. She is well now! No more body ache and sore throat and no need to go to the doctor’s office!

Hydrogen is the smallest atom in the world that can penetrate your cells at a mitochondrial level and has strong anti-oxidant properties, eliminating free radicals within your body at enormous rates.

Cass drinks 3 packs a day. I am still trying to coax her to swallow the Super Lutein soft gel tabs. She finds it hard to swallow, though the tab is not big.

4. Hydrogen is difficult to preserve within the body but without it, cells get weak and deteriorate, then high acidity is produced in your system. Thus Hydrogen has also a pH balancing effect on the body not turning acid into alkaline at all, but balancing the equilibrium of the body whilst flushing out acidic toxins through sweat and urine. 6. Back Pain and other Organs Pain – same concept where Hydrogen helps because our bone mass, body organs, muscles, they all need Hydrogen. It helps increase bone density too.

7. Skin – Skin is made out of millions of cells but what ratio of cells do we have, good healthy cells or free radicals? Good cells produce smooth, supple skin. It all comes back to the theory of cellular structures and they all need Hydrogen

8. Cancer – Cancer is the result of too many free radicals in the body.
