Another post to pen down in this eJournal for my girls.
Last night after a dinner of pork chops, I let out a satisfied burp and had forgotten to say “excuse me”. After the burp, I knew I was in for trouble. I knew that criticisms will be flying from all directions of the dining table from my 3 sarcastic rascals. My girls are always very quick to lambast if I had forgotten to say “excuse me” or “sorry”. And Baby my 3YO was quick to snap at me with “mummy, you burp like a PIG!” … to which I had to control hard from bursting out laughing out loud. 10 minutes later, I was still chortling softly to myself at the dining table as I found the remark from Baby too hilarious. Alycia saw me and asked me why I was laughing. I told her about it and together we all laughed heartily.

Kids are always fast to learn and apply what you teach them, I guess. So, if you teach them to say “excuse me” or “sorry”, make sure you say them when required. Otherwise, they will start telling you off instead!
