Today is only the first day of the school holidays and I am already so steresssssed up! Minding my 2 older gals is a chore – whenever the gals don’t have to go to school, they have no urgency to do anything. I have to keep reminding them to drink milk, wash up, brush teeth, shower, eat, do homework, blah blah blah and it pisses me off big time having to nag and nag like a grumpy frumpy old woman. As Baby’s pee looked cloudy yesterday, I have been spending a lot of time forcing water down her throat, bringing her to the potty to pee, checking and smelling her pee (another chore!)Â and washing her down under squeaky clean, all done in the hope that whatever bacteria that’s lurking inside her urinary tract will be flushed out.
This is a typical scene on a weekday morning – Rascal #2 dilly dallying away, refusing to drink her milk, refusing to wash up, throwing tantrums and throwing herself on the floor and crying (she cries at least twice a day, every single day).  Life is never a dull moment when you have 3 rascals at home.

OMG… you still have a week to go before they start schooling again. All the best!!
Errr…sorry to tell you. I think this will go on for awhile. The dilly-dallying business. My friend tells me her 14 year old is like that, another friend telling me her 18 year old daughter is also like that.
Guessed you just have to close one eye…or both!!!
If there’s any consolation, mine are also like that. In their PJs during weekends and school holidays. And will only change when we are going out. I also don’t bother nagging. “sai-hei” lor….might as well keep all my “hei” and go karaoke. Hahahha
All these is about parenting la.. If you start them well when young, this lackadaisical attitude will be kept to the minimum.
My 15 years never exhibit such behaviour until recently but a good sit down talk has improve things tremendously. She now contain such behaviour when it is her “own time” after all her chores around the house has been completed, homework done, “self grooming” work done. For this, I let it be la but when I call for her, she has to response.
oh dear! do u scold no2 and not jst nag her? i scold my vic alot when she dilly dally… until sometimes i even regret myself. but i take my hats off to you… managing three kids esp no2 and no3… thank God u have your mil and biz to keep u sane… haha
