I got so exhausted letting Baby C suckle my teats the whole day and night that I decided to give her the pacifier 2 days ago but know what? When her lips touched the pacifier, she furrowed her eyebrows, then used her tongue to push out the pacifier and gave me an expression that said “this is not your teat teat mummy”.
I left the pacifier next to her and when she cried, I put the pacifier to her lips and the same thing happened…. she pushed the pacifier out with her tongue.
No baby, this is not mummy’s teats!
In the end, I gave up and pacified her instantaneously with my teats. Looks like I am going to have very sore teats for the next few months or years…. but it’s ok…. mummy will do anything for you Cassie dear!

happy fullmoon to cassandra, it looked like a huge party!
haahahahaaa….she’s soooo cute!!! I really want to visit you again…to see this cutie pie. Later, ok? Happy Mommy’s Day to you 😀
Happy Mother’s day !!!
Happy Mother’s Day to you, wonderful mom of 3!
Just a suggestion…have someone else give baby C the pacifier. It won’t work if u personally do it cos she knows u are there and she definitely knows she can choose! Kudos for breastfeeding cos the latest study has shown breastfed babies(not just “pumped” milk) grow up smarter. I suspect though that the study design itself maybe flawed, but breast milk is still the best! Happy Mother’s day!
i oso gave my girl when bf, didnt want her to just suck mt breast for comfort oni
then i bought so many pacifiers and only 1 works, that is mothercare brand, the latex pacifier. u gotta find one which is flatter, not the full round shape coz doesnt feel like our nipple. i introduced my friend this pacifier for her breastfed bb too and her son was ok with it..
so sweet, Shireen, u will surely love her dearly for the special bonding between the both of you 🙂
