Last Thursday, after a buffet hotpot lunch at Wagyu More @ Gardens Mall to celebrate Alycia’s 21st birthday, I did a bit of window shopping—a little ritual I’ve grown to enjoy after a hearty meal. Over the past few years, since the pandemic hit in 2020, I’ve developed a newfound love for sports shoes. It’s more than just a hobby; it’s become a purposeful obsession.
I’ve come to realize that a good pair of walking or running shoes can transform the way I move. Comfortable, supportive sneakers make long walks enjoyable and pain-free, motivating me to walk more steps than I normally would. Over time, I’ve started to see my sneakers as an essential investment in self-care and a fitter me.
For the past couple of years, Nike and Adidas have been my go-to brands. Their designs are not only stylish but also engineered for comfort, making every step feel effortless.
During my stroll around The Gardens Mall, the Adidas shop naturally caught my eye. As I stepped in, I spotted two pairs of sneakers that immediately piqued my interest. Both pairs were under RM350—affordable yet high-quality options.
The first pair was a classic Stan Smith Adidas sneaker in white, but with a twist—the iconic logo featured a stunning holographic effect. It’s subtle yet striking, perfect for adding a unique touch to everyday outfits.
The second pair was an Adidas VL Court Bold sneaker in baby pink. These platform shoes are not just stylish but also versatile enough to complement different looks, from casual wear to more polished ensembles. The soft pink color was love at first sight as I’m a fan of PINK, and I knew instantly that these sneakers were meant for me.
As the holiday season approaches, I’ve decided that the pink Adidas platform sneakers will be my Christmas present to myself. After all, self-love and self-care deserve to be celebrated, and what better way than with a pair of shoes that makes me happy and comfortable? 😁
Looks like I have the perfect excuse to plan another trip to The Gardens Mall soon! Here’s to stepping into comfort and style—because every step should feel as good as it looks.
