Have u tried dry mopping with a Swiffer( that’s a brand but there are many cheaper copy cats; Daiso may carry one of their own as I recall getting one many years ago when we stayed in KL)? Picks up pet hair really well. There are wet Swiffer wipes too but I sub with a wet facecloth.

I’ve been using a Magiclean wiper mop for years. It’s my most preferred type of mop. I think it’s something like Swiffer. I buy the wiper sheets (dry and wet) from Daiso. Yes they’re effective in wiping off cat fur. However I need to mop several times a day coz the floor becomes dusty and furry again very soon. As long as Haru plays and runs inside the house, there will also be fur on the floor and table tops. 😹
I just recalled once we were having house guests allergic to cats…we had 2! So, both were take to the groomers for a shave; that did help. My 16 year old cat was so chilled, the groomer gave us a discount as she was 100% cooperative!
Cat groomers here charge exorbitant fees at around RM80 for grooming! I think no groomer would accept Haru as she hisses a lot at strangers! She even bites. She’s fiercer than a dog! LOL!
