Haru Is Off The Cone & Post-Surgery Suit

I didn’t intend to let Haru off the cone and suit yet as I wanted her wound to heal completely. But I guess my smart kitty knew that her wound has healed well and she declared her own ‘freedom’ and ‘clean bill of health’ by removing both the cone and suit herself one morning early this week.

No matter how hard we tried to put the cone and suit back on her, she would find a way to remove them from her body. Stubborn as a mule!

Haru figured out how to tear off her suit no matter which cone (plastic or soft) we put on her neck.
Not even 2 weeks old and the post-surgery suit is filled with holes with the velcro almost torn off.
Photo taken last week. The wound looks so much better now.
Haru’s now back to her usual self again now. She’s super adorable, bursting with energy and always initiates a play with us. She’s yearning to see the outside world too and loves to look down from the window to watch people and birds.
Haru still loves plastic bags. Every time she sees a plastic bag lying around, she will jump into it and waits for us to carry her around in it.

I finally saw Haru’s sibling again, outside hubby’s central kitchen. I think he’s about 6 months old here. Haru’s mother gave birth to another litter of kittens a few months after giving birth to Haru. She recently gave birth to another litter of kittens but we believe that the 4 kittens had been swallowed up by a python snakešŸ˜. The snake was later caught by firefighters.
