Haru’s nails were trimmed by the vet early this month when we brought her there for her first vaccine. The nails grew sharp and long again very quickly. If you have kittens and cats, you will know how sharp they are, like razor blades! Yesterday I got scratched badly by Haru, unintentionally. Haru was on the floor enjoying her wet kitten food of tuna and I was squatting next to her. Cass who was nearby playfully tried to scare Haru and before I even realized it, Haru jumped, thinking that she would be attacked and in the process, I got scratched by her – a deep scratch on my left palm and two scratches on my fingers. All her food flew from the bowl and splattered everywhere 😿 😾
Haru’s latest craze is this blue unicorn plush indoor slippers with claws. Alycia’s best friend gave her the pair of slippers and a unicorn blanket onesie. She’s the one who fostered Ginger (Haru’s brother). Ginger would get very aggressive and growl each time she sees the clawed slippers 😹
These are photos of Ginger (now named Moon Moon by his new mom), taken by Alycia yesterday when she went to her best friend’s house after their last SPM paper. Yes, yay to them for finally completing their SPM, after months of postponement, causing unnecessary emotional stress to them.
Ginger is one very aggressive cat who loves biting everyone and lets out the loudest MEOW to seek attention. Sherilyn calls him the attention seeker 😸
