Sorry for the long silence here 🙂

Been busy traipsing, shopping, eating and bonding in Hong Kong the past few days.

As I am typing this post I am queueing up for a ride with Cass at Disneyland and it is 730pm now. We arrived at Disneyland late as we were away at Lamma Island for an excursion.

It is just Cass, eldest SIL and I at Disneyland. The other kids say it is too kiddish for them ha!

Will upload all pix when we are back in KL 🙂

Dental Implants

Living with a missing tooth can be frustrating. Many people avoid smiling or laughing and spend an enormous amount of time attempting to hide their faces from the public. It is not necessary to live life with this constant distraction. Dental implants look and feel just like natural teeth and can give you a radiant and dazzling smile that you can share with the world.

What are Dental Implants

Dental implants are small prosthetic teeth that your dentist will insert into the space of a missing tooth. These implants are made from a blend of materials that will allow you to eat like normal. Implants last for a lifetime, and you never have to worry about removing or losing them. Dental implants are popular among people who want to enjoy a radiant smile, even if they have lost teeth in the past.

Who Gets Dental Implants

Dental implants are the ideal solution for anyone who wants a permanent solution to tooth loss. While there are many temporary solutions like partials and bridges, dental implants are the only way to replace your lost tooth for life. The process for getting a dental implant depends on several factors. First, you will have to have enough bone in the affected area to support the new tooth. If you do not, your dentist will have to perform a bone augmentation or graft in order to add more bone to the jaw. The dentist will perform x-rays to see the exact nature of your jaw structure, then make several casts that he will use to create the tooth. Finally, the dentist will start to create a new root for the tooth and perform the implant procedure. The typical time frame for getting a dental implant is between five and six months for most patients.

Cost of Dental Implants

The cost of dental implants can vary considerably depending on your dental needs. If you are getting multiple tooth implants, the oral surgeon can often combine procedures such as x-rays to save you money. In some cases, your insurance may cover the cost of your implants if they are medically necessary.

When it comes to enjoying a dazzling white and perfect smile, there is no better way than through cosmetic dentistry. If you are looking for dental implants in Ocala, you can find a qualified oral surgeon who can restore your smile and allow you to enjoy smiling and laughing again.
