Our Merdeka Weekend (30 – 31 August 2015)

On the eve of Merdeka Day, we had brunch at Le Pont Boulangerie Cafe @ Bedford Business Park, Old Klang Road, KL.

Le Pont – French for ‘The Bridge’ is a fairly new boulangarie which opened its doors just a few months ago. Le Pont has an European-accented menu that’s meted out in a fascinatingly fashioned three-level space comprising a bakery & a cafe.

Breakfast set…

Smoked salmon on English muffin and Egg Benedict.

Waffles with ice-cream, chocolate sauce and blueberry sauce.

An assortment of sinful cakes and tarts.

To be honest, we were not exactly satisfied with our brunch. I think there is still room for improvement in their breakfast sets. The hollandaise sauce tasted weird and there there were only about 3 pieces of mushrooms in their breakfast set. The scrambled eggs portion (in a small mug) was also pretty pathetic.  We were comparing this with  big breakfast sets from other cafes of that stature and pricing. I think breakfast sets may not be Le Pong’s strong suit just yet.  I still very much prefer big breakfast sets from Antipodean and Marmalade. They have very generous portions of mushrooms and scrambled eggs, big juicy house-made sausages, grilled tomatoes and other accompaniments that live up to the name BIG breakfast set.

The chocolate bar @ RM13.50 a canister is very chocolaty and rich and was my order for take-away, to be savored as dessert after meals 😀

Bedford Business Park, Off Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur.

We had dinner at Gyutaro Yakiniku at 3rd Mile Square, Old Klang Road. Gyutaro is a pleasant first-floor yakiniku outlet.  It was our second time there.
I love their kimchi comprising of cabbage, radish and cucumber.

Hubs ordered wagyu beef for our DIY BBQ over binchotan white charcoal.

We enjoyed our dinner very much.

Our Merdeka Day brunch was dim sum at Han Room @ The Gardens, Mid Valley.

For dinner, we ought to have something really light and easy. MIL made a big pot of pork + dried oysters + dried octopus + peanuts congee. I love my congee with lots of chopped scallions, coriander leaves, pepper, julienned young ginger and half a cube of foo yue (fermented bean curd). So yummy and hearty 🙂

Happy Merdeka Day to our country and my wish is for her to get out of the mess that she’s currently in now. I wish for her to be like what she used to be when I was a little girl — so peaceful, no drama and no spring cleaning was needed back then. She was a clean and peaceful motherland back then.  Ah, those were the days where street rallies were never heard of. I could cycle on my own around our neighborhood with no fear of being kidnapped or run down by vehicles.

Wat Kai Fan (Kwong Kei) @ Jalan San Peng (Gem of San Peng!)

Now we don’t have to travel all the way to Ipoh and Penang to savor kai see hor fun (shredded chicken noodles) and char koay teow!  We can chow it all at the heart of KL at Wat Kai Fan located along Jalan San Peng.

I discovered this awesome stall just on Tuesday this week after grocery shopping at NSK. From the facade, this unassuming roadside staff looks like some kind of stalls that I would never step foot into.  But it’s pretty clean inside and the food deserves some publicity.

Wat Kai Fan (also known as Kwong Kei) is sandwiched next to a capati joint owned by a guy called ‘Tiger Jit Singh’ and a char koay teow stall.

This bowl of kai see hor fun (in my case, I ordered mai fun or vermicelli) is by far the best I’ve tasted in KL. I think it can join the ranks of the authentic Ipoh ngar choi kai (bean sprouts chicken) heavyweights.

Note: the char koay teow was ordered from the stall next to Wat Kai Fan. Had I closed my eyes and ate the plate of char koay teow, I would have thought that it’s an authentic Penang char koay teow. So yea, it was very good too with enough ‘wok hei’.  Our plate of char koay teow came with one giant prawn and several smaller prawns, cockles, eggs, etc. — very much like the famous Sisters char koay teow at Macalister Road, Penang.

Loh taufoo (braised hard bean curd) and eggs.

Crunchy and juicy bean sprouts. My absolute favorite!

The Star’s Food Trail Sam has given his mark of approval – the owner proudly hangs this framed article  on the wall of her stall.

We were served by a hunky ‘leng jai’ too (in orange tee)! HAHA! The woman in green is the owner.  She told me that she has a branch at Viva Mall, Cheras.

We will definitely be back to try  other items like steamed pork with salted fish, steamed fish, double boiled soup and many more. On the advise of the great dame – to avoid robust lunch hour crowd, try to be there at around 11ish am.

The Best Place To Shop For Cheap Formal Dresses and Wedding Gowns

My hubs spent over RM10,000 on my wedding gowns (rented ones only), photography and video 15 years ago. This amount is a pretty large amount now, what more 15 years ago. And we were not completely satisfied with the wedding photos. We felt conned by the sales people from the bridal studio with really convincing words and skills to make us part with our money. But we later realized how contriving they were. We don’t even hang our over-sized wedding photo on the wall as it looks really out of place in our small condo unit. Plus, hubs hated how he looked in those photos with stiff fake smiles and all. Our girls will ROTFLOL whenever they see their daddy with those fake smiles in hilarious stiff poses. I can’t help laughing at them too. Big regret!

If we could do it all over again now, we would definitely ditch the studio photos and go au naturel with candid shots done outdoor with minimal make-up and natural hair-do sans stiff hair spray. I’ll just get one or two wedding gowns or cheap formal dresses from online stores like beformal.com.au.

If we could do it all over again, I would choose to have a beach or garden wedding with no fancy shmancy hotel wedding dinner.  A wedding reception followed by a cocktail dinner among relatives and close friends will suffice.

Purple Sweet Potato Porridge With ‘Tau Kok Lup’

The mil cooked a big pot of ‘tau kok lup’ and purple sweet potato porridge for lunch last week.

‘Tau Kok Lup’ is a healthy sauteed dish composed of long beans, diced carrot, diced preserved veggie (choy po), diced prawns, diced chicken meat or pork and crunchy peanuts. It is normally eaten with porridge. You can even add other veggies of your choice – bell peppers, celery, cashew nuts, macadamia or whatever veggies and nuts that you and your kids fancy.

Tau kok lup is my kind of food, well for anyone on a low-carb diet. It’s high in fiber, low in carbs and absolutely delish. Since there was still a lot of leftover, I had it for breakfast the next day! 😉

Conversation With Cass

Going through the throes of motherhood, often times my girls will drive me to the point of breaking down with thoughts of packing my bags and ditching them for good!

When the girls, especially the littlest one was in her rascal temperament and being very disobedient last week…

Me – I will leave you all soon and never come back! Then you will all realize how good I have been!! And you will regret for not loving me enough and taking me for granted! *blood boiling*

Cass – you can never leave me. I will follow you wherever you go to. I will go to Ipoh to look for you!! We can never be separated!!

Oh like how did she even know that I will flee to Ipoh? See, I am so transparent and easy to hack! HA!

My not so baby-ish anymore baby girl is still loving her part-time gig as model at mummy’s online store 🙂

Affordable Gowns

This December is set to be a very exciting month for me. Apart from our yearly holiday in Penang, which our main purpose of making the trip there is to see Cass’ surgeon. She has to have an ultrasound scan of her kidneys done until she turns 12 years old. We will also spend several days in Ipoh – my beloved hometown with my beloved dad and mom. This year also sees us visiting Hong Kong in early December. The purpose of our trip to Hong Kong is to celebrate the mil’s 70th birthday. My sils from all over the world will congregate in Hong Kong for this celebration. Alycia will get to celebrate her birthday in the air again, for the 2nd year straight! Last year she celebrated her 11th birthday on the plane on route to New Zealand.

Should our vacation in Hong Kong not materialize, I have another exciting event in Ipoh in December. My former classmates in Ipoh has organized a mega reunion for the class of 1990. I have not seen many of my erstwhile classmates for over 2 decades and it would be really nice to meet them again. As part of the reunion, we will be going down memory lane at our alma mater. The organizing committee plans to engage our once favorite stall operators at our school canteen to whip up a feast for us… just like how we used to enjoy them in the 80s.

But first thing first. I have to get myself a chic formal gown for the event.  I anticipate that there’s going to be a major camwhoring session and who knows, even the Press will be called to cover the event.  So I would want to look my best, ever!

Evening gowns and cocktail gowns from boutiques can run up to thousands of bucks each. But if I shop for my gowns online from stores like jojobride, they are only a fraction of the cost of branded ones and those from boutiques.

I have shortlisted a few…

A long evening gown in sweet lilac…

This elegant A-line hi-low mint backless pale green dress with sash will look good on me too and it only costs USD99.

A stunning hawt red coctail dress…

This dress reminds me of the dress that my classmate designed for me for our farewell party after our SPM exam in 1990.  I still remember very vividly how she had spent weeks designing the dress for me and my mum brought me to the textile shop and bought me a piece of red velvet cloth to have the dress sewn.

There are thousands of chic and elegant gowns at jvsdress.com and every dress is pretty. I just couldn’t stop myself from virtual window shopping there! 😀

Secret Garden Adult Coloring Books Craze

As we bid bye-bye to Rainbow Loom and welcome  Secret Garden into our daily lives, I can’t help but wonder how long the Secret Garden adult coloring book bubble will last before it bursts!  My girls were crazy over Rainbow Loom for slightly less than a year.  I don’t know what to do with their once precious collection of colored rubber bands now.  Give them away perhaps? I can’t keep them too long as they will turn sticky over time.

Cass has now turned her radar screen on Secret Garden adult coloring books. Yesterday, she bought 3 pieces of Secret Garden from her school bookshop at only 30 sen each.

Perhaps you already know about the coloring books craze; you might be one of the 1.4 million people who’s bought Johanna Basford’s “Secret Garden.” Published in 2013, it continues to float among Amazon’s bestselling books — currently it’s at No. 10, two spots ahead of Kim Kardashian’s “Selfish” — and is the online retailer’s most-wished-for book. Basford’s followup, “Enchanted Forest,” is almost as popular.

Secret Garden by Johanna Basford
Best Kids Backdrops for photography

The books feature intricate patterns and designs that are far too sophisticated for a child’s hand. But Cass can handle it pretty well, as you can see below here. She did the coloring during her free time in school. I took a snapshot of these while I was in school waiting for her to finish her story-telling competition yesterday afternoon.

But for adults, they’re a way to engage creatively with a relatively low barrier of entry: Coloring is easier than most crafts like, say, learning to knit.

Has the magical flora and fauna of Secret Garden grown in your very own garden yet? Let me see when the flowers will shrivel in my kids’ garden….

Treating Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s With Hydrogen Water

My maternal grandma suffered from Alzheimer’s for about a year before her passing. My heart was crushed when my mum called me one day when I was in college to inform me that por por suffered a stroke and had lost her memory. My por por was our babysitter and she took very good care of my brothers and me when dad mom were at work.  Her cooking was superb and she was a very caring granny.  I will never forget how dejected she looked  when dad and mom had no choice but to place her in a nursing home.

If you know of anyone suffering from Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s,  hydrogen water is known to help with the recovery.

A pilot study from the US National Library of  MedicineNational Institutes of Health found that   hydrogen water has positive effects  and improvement in Parkinson’s features in model animals. You can read more on the pilot study here : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23400965

Hydrogen is an antioxidant that will scavenge free radicals from the cells resulting in a cleaner body.

You can email shireenyong@gmail.com to find out how you can order hydrogen-infused drinking water.

Earning Passive Income

When I was inevitably forced to quit the job that I love to be a SAHM 10 years ago, I felt really insecure financially. I had a good-paying job with good perks and a great boss, what more could I ask for? But Alycia and Sherilyn’s babysitter wanted to retire for good and I didn’t trust any other babysitter. So I bit the bullet and threw in my resignation letter.

Three years after I left the corporate world and with tens of thousands of bucks exhausted from my bank account to pay part of Cassandra’s surgery bills (which accumulated to over RM50,000 after our 3-week stay at GMC Penang. This amount excludes all her monthly outpatient specialist consultations and drugs), I was itching to make some money to recoup my loss. I set up a blogshop to sell my pre-loved stuff. I later expanded to sell ladies clothing and kids clothing. Five and a half years on, my online store is still running and surviving. Business was good initially as there were not many blogshops around back then. A few years down the road, blogshops started to sprout out like virus in the world wide web. Every other day, I see new blogshops and online stores springing out in Facebook. Competition started to be stiff right until now. Business has now slowed down. Most of my customers now are my loyal customers who have been buying from me for years.

With the recent price hike, GST, savings for my 3 girls’ tertiary education and to feed my love for shopping, I wanted to earn more. Then an opportunity came knocking on my door by my blogger friend of 10 years. I turned her down several times as I just wasn’t interested in doing MLM business. Plus the products were so expensive! I had dabbled in MLM business several times in the past but with my reclusive and shy persona, no way I could soar in MLM business. One day, she gave me a box of hydrogenated water from this MLM company and told me that she was pretty confident that it would help Cass in her incontinence issue. I was doubtful that the products would work, yet very hopeful. On day 2 of starting on the hydrogenated water, Cass reacted positively to it and within a week, I could see significant improvement in her incontinence issue. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it’s true!

This month would be the 5th month that I am in this hydrogen water and lutein supplement business to help me generate passive income. The first 1-2 months, I was a tad laid-back but seeing how my friends could earn thousands of bucks every week (some of them every day!), I wanted to be like them too!  Like who doesn’t like money right? 😀

This is a summary of the business and roughly how it works…..

Step 1: Buy a package and become a member. Your initial capital is RM5330.00 which will give you 15 products of your choice (hydrogen water / lutein supplement). With this package, you will also automatically become a member of the company and can start earning points. You can consume it if you want (I would highly recommend this) but at the same time, you can also sell it to friends or family for them to try 1 or 2 bottles to get them started. Price per product should you get this package will be roughly RM355. (retail price is RM435).

Step: 2: Start consuming the products. Consuming the products consistently at the right dosage, you will notice and see the difference in your health. If you are healthy (with no health conditions to heal, you will still feel good and will see positive results).  It took only 2 days for me to see a remarkable reaction in Cass’ involuntary urine dribbling issue. For my other girls and myself, I can say that the products have strengthened our immune system and we no longer easily get throat infections. Even if we are down with a cold or fever, the recovery period is amazingly fast!

Step 3: Start sharing. It can be with family & friends. It can be through blog, through any social media or if you don’t like to share, that’s OK too. Just don’t do anything. Just update me with your progress and my upline and I will help you grow your business. You will be on your way to get that passive income. It will be small at first but it’s still free money.  Where else can you get free money? The income that you generate from this business is credited directly into your bank account, how amazing is that! The money can be earned daily, weekly or monthly. How fast and how much you want to earn is entirely up to your effort.

Basically that’s it! That’s all you need to do. There is no timeframe or target on when you should share or how many people you need to introduce this products to. You don’t even have to share if you don’t want to if you are too shy to share. Updating a photo of the product in your Instagram or Facebook is already  considered as sharing. You share about what food you eat, where you go and what you do, so why not share this?  Sharing is caring and you can save someone’s life, trust me. Most of my customers who took a few products to try eventually signed up for the package.

Once you become a member, you will automatically start your own map. You will be the top of your map, which makes you the leader or the boss of your “organisation” or your business. The map looks like this.

You will have a right and left leg. If you are interested to grow and gain an income from consuming this product, you will want to grow your right leg and left leg as much as possible. If you are just a happy consumer, meaning you DONT WANT to share your knowledge, DONT want to tell people you are consuming this products, or DONT WANT to do anything, like it or not, your map will still grow by itself.

HOW?

Because everyone in the system only has 2 legs. Left leg and right leg. Each time someone above you (your upline) introduces someone to this business or purchase a package, that person needs to place that new customer somewhere on their left or right leg.

For example, if today you sign up a package and become a member, you will NOT be directly under me because I already have people directly under my right and left leg. I will place you somewhere under the people under me. Get it?

Your “tree” or your “organisation” will keep growing as long as people above you keeps adding and signing people up. Even if I don’t sign up more people, my leader will still put people she signs up under me. This is because she needs to balance her chart too. In a way, it is a win-win situation.

This business is also about teamwork and I am SO glad and thankful that I have very good leaders who guide me very well. Just tell them your goals and they will help you achieve them.

My leader will help me close the deals if I have problems doing so because she still gets points from my deals. That way, she will always push me to do better because by doing so, she herself is doing better too. And in my case, I will want my leader to do well herself, because if she does well, she will keep adding people under me. It just works both ways. Teamwork is important because in this business, you will want your team to do well because when your team does well, you do well too. Even if someone is not from your team, you will still want them to do well. Here is why:

The bonus structures in the business will also depend a lot of team performances. For example, one of the bonus structure is called the Excellent Bonus. The reward from this is you will get 1% of points derived from total global product sales for the target period divided by the number of qualifiers.

Do you know that this product is sold around the world AND it has been Japan’s No.1 product from 2010-2013. Imagine the product sales for this period? Surely a lot right? 1% of GLOBAL product sales is quite a lot already!

The faster you join, the better because that means you will be higher in the chart. So don’t wait. Just sign up quickly and join us. You won’t regret it. Trust me!  And this company is not a fly by night company or scam. This company, registered in 2008 has strict rules and regulations.  The company has offices worldwide, including USA, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, among other countries.

If earning passive income is something that you wish to do now, I can be reached at shireenyong@gmail.com for more information.

Avocado Oat Bran Almond Chocolate Milk Shake

My brekkie today (after a 20-lap swim in the pool), fit for a health freak and those planning on losing some weight 😀

Composition: Half avocado + 3 tablespoons organic oat bran + a handful of baked almonds + fresh chocolate milk + chilled water (ice cubes would be more refreshing) blitzed for about 20 seconds in my Blendtec blender.

This avo oat bran almond choco milk shake was so yummy and it filled me up well too.  I also had a handful of Edamame beans, left over from the girls’ breakfast at 6am.

Our Saturday – 15 August 2015

After a hearty breakfast of chicken curry wanton noodles at a new eatery, hubs made an impulsive decision to bring us all (MIL, Cass and me) for massage at the Reflexology & Massage outlet just next to the eatery.

But the Mandarin tutor will be at our place in exactly an hour’s time. And I wanted a full body massage like reaaaally badly!  It’s been yonks since I had my last hands, shoulders and legs massage.

So how brown cow?

So I Whatsapp-ed the tutor for her to come 15 minutes later  😀

No regrets 🙂 🙂

First, we soaked our feet in warm water in a wooden pail.

Then the masseuse (a young lad from China) massaged my shoulders, hands and ‘pulled my  head up’.  Wow, that was painful!

Then he massaged my feet and achy legs. And gawd, I could not take the pain though I had told him to use the mildest strength possible!

After an hour of soothing massage interspersed with some pretty painful ones at my problematic spots, I was really loosened up and restored.  At RM50 for an hour, a good body massage to pamper myself is undeniably well deserved after a week of hard work slaving for the family 😀

What A Night!

Ever since we moved in to our condo 7 years ago, there was hardly a power outage.  Well, maybe twice or thrice in 7 years.  Last night was just one of those unlucky nights. We were all in the midst of doing our things when bang, the house went into darkness.

My poor Alycia who was studying for her exam (final trial UPSR) had to take an hour break and mind you, for someone who only does her revision at the eleventh hour, an hour of break is a long time!  Thankfully the power supply resumed and she had to study way until midnight.

We searched the house for candles but could not find them. We called hubs on the phone and he said that he had thrown all the candles  away as he thinks that keeping candles in the house is a hazard with mischievous girls of his around! For once I agree with him. With only the small emergency light from the ceiling fan and 2 torch lights (one big and one small), we had to take turns using the torch lights.

I told Alycia to quickly do her revision under the ceiling fan with an emergency light as the light will only lit for half an hour. Yup for only half an hour after which the house will be in total darkness.  Miss Cool As Cucumber nonchalantly sat at the dining table under the emergency light to do her Math workbook armed with a small torch light. Thankfully I bought her a small torch light last month when she went for an overnight stay at a resort with her school prefect team.

Our part-time helper used the big torch light to continue with her chores while I called the condo manager on his mobile phone to tell him to get his technicians over to fix the outage problem.

Thankfully with emergency lights at the corridor and pool area, we could get a wee bit light at the kitchen for our helper to continue with her chores.

On hindsight, we should keep more torch lights in the house.   Since Alycia will be sitting for her UPSR exam next month, we should also buy a new rechargeable fluorescent emergency light.  Even if a power outage happens again on her exam night, well, we will be more prepared. But ‘choi, knock on wood!!  Hopefully all will go smoothly during her UPSR exam week with no exam leak this year!

How To Remember To Do Things

I’m forgetful and I know it. So I have to rely on several means of making my daily reminders. I use an e-Calendar on my desktop and key in all the things I have to do every hour and minute of the day. The e-Calendar will prompt me at the hour I am supposed to do the task. But this is not 100% reliable coz when the task is not done for the day and I had not set the reminder as a repeat task, I will overlook the task.

For very important things that I cannot afford to forget like registering my kid into a school, I stick Post It pads on my work desk and dressing table. I also write the reminder on my table calendar.

When I go shopping without the man, I snap photos of where I park my car… not only one photo of the parking lot number but also photos of the entrance, the pole and the shops upon entering the mall LOL!  I know I will surely get lost in big malls with many Courts. For eg. Mid Valley Megamall – it has a few Courts like  Centre Court (North),  Centre Court (Escalator),  North Court (Lift), North Court (Escalator), etc. etc.  I don’t have a photographic memory now with so many other important things occupying the space in my brain. My memory is full and I don’t get enough sleep everyday (5 to 5.5 hours max, pathetic huh?), which only exhauts my brain power further.

My memory has failed me ever since Cass was born and she had sucked me dry of all my brain DHA for 3 frigging years.  Now I have to pop Super Lutein, Izumio and fish oil to replenish my brain power 😀

Do these photos look familiar to you? I find that this is an excellent way of bringing me back to where I park my car in a huge shopping mall.

Do you do this too?

Replenishing Inventory and Taking Care of Varied Patient Needs

Your patients have a variety of health concerns. No single patient has the same needs and concerns as another. When you want to be able to serve the widest variety of patients possible, you need to keep your medical facility’s inventory well-stocked and varied as well. To gain access to the fullest range of supplies like ELISA kits available today, you may fare better to shop online than to partner with a local supplier.

Online medical suppliers offer a number of advantages that local suppliers may be unable to match. To begin with, an online site typically will carry a wide range of products at any given time. A local supplier may only carry what it sells the most often to local clients. If you have a patient with a unique health concern, you may be unable to care for him or her if you relegate your supply connections to a local medical supply business. You may have to wait a few days or even a week or longer to get the test that this patient needs.

An online site that deals in test kits and more, however, will have a wider range of tests available anytime of the day or night. Even if you cannot get around to ordering until after work, this website is always available. You can order from your home or during the weekend if needed without compromising your ability to get the supplies your patients need. Another factor of shopping online involves the ability to set up an account for present and future purchases. You may not want to have to repeatedly type in the same information each time you shop online. Once you set up an account, that information is stored permanently on the website until you remove it.

Because the site is available anytime of the day or night, you also have the discretion to browse at your leisure. For example, if you know that your clinic needs allergy tests, you can use the links on the page to check out the various allergy kits available. You can consider the brands of the tests and also the specifications listed on the packaging. You also can order the desired quantity that you need for your clinic at the same time. Online ordering can benefit your medical business and allow you to treat patients with varied healthcare needs.

Our Sunday – 9 August 2015

Today is the eve of the eve of Alycia’s exam – her final UPSR trial exam before the actual exam in exactly a month’s time.  After going through endless exams with her and the 2 younger girls, I have learned to relax like Alycia. She’s always as cool as a cucumber, come what may. Now, I have learnt to stay calm and cool too. It’s only one of those hundreds of exams that she has to go through in her life. And she’s only 12!  So heck, I am not going to loose sleep and hair over exams!

Sherilyn whipped up her designer yoghurt for breakkie today. In the morning, we went to the supermarket to shop for fruits. Back home, she sliced up some Australian strawberries for her pineapple yogurt.

Sherilyn’s creation – low-fat pineapple Swiss yogurt with cashews, heart-shaped strawberries and Nutella.

Lunch was at our latest favorite Korean haunt – Oiso Korean Restaurant.

My favorite beef Bibimbap again…

Another of my favorite – beef Bulgogi…

Korean rice cake with hard-boiled egg and tofu cake with Korean chilli paste.

Kimchi ramen, which is everyone’s favorite.

Korean seafood noodles…

For dessert, we segued next door to Macaroni Food And Coffee @ Faber Tower for…

Butter bread pudding with ice-cream…

Tiramisu….

Hubs ordered 2 pizzas for take-away for the pizza-craze girl sitting for exam.  Aargh, I hate pizzas and sick of having them every Sunday!!  I’ll be fine with oats + milk and some fruits 🙂

While Alycia locked herself in the bedroom and buried herself in school books, the 2 younger girls played Blokus and Monopoly. Both are strategy games and the girls love them. They spent over 2 hours playing with Alycia coming out every 15 minutes to watch them play. Poor girl, I can’t wait for her UPSR exam to be over so that she can immerse herself in all her favorite games and sports again.

I can happily update all my blogs since I don’t have to cook today.  Happy Sunday and have a fruitful week ahead world! 🙂
