The weather in KL has been really very pleasant for the past one week. It has been very chilly, just perfect to eat chillies!
It has been very breezy, very cooling and the sun would be hiding behind the clouds on most days. The temperature at the coolest time of the day is only between 20 – 21 degrees Celsius and the peak is only about 30 degrees Celsius. On days when I do not exercise, I do not even need to shower in the morning. Even at home, Cass and Sherilyn would don on their jackets and cardigans on some very breezy and cooling days. Our unit on the 5th floor has always been pretty windy and it is even breezier than ever these days! 😀 During my pre-dawn morning jogs outside, it is so chilly that my hands and legs would turn really cold and stiff. As I am typing this post, my hands and feet are cold and it is 6:30pm now. The sun is no where to be seen today. This sun-hating lady loves it haha! It feels as though I am living in some cold country now.
Chinese New Year will be here in less than two weeks. This means we will have to say good-bye to the cooling weather and welcome the dreaded hot, humid and windless ‘Chinese New Year weather’! I am dreading the start of the hot days when temperature would spike up to 39 degrees Celsius. If only the chilly weather is here to stay for good. If only…
In this pic, Cass is enjoying her waffle with ice cream at a cafe at Plaza Damas. I can’t seem to remember the name of this cafe with an award-winning barista cum co-owner who whips up exceptional coffee complete with coffee art. The next time we have coffee and waffles at this cafe again, I must remember to snap some pix of the award-winning coffee and get the name of the cafe! 😉

I hate the sun too, but on days like these, I wish there is (some) sun to dry up the clothes..
I live in a condo too, and I have no open balcony like yours to hang the clothes..
So the clothes are usually in a room, which I call it the “hang clothes room” (long sam fong)..
So everynite, no choice, have to on the fan to let the clothes dry faster lor..
Louiz, we hang laundry to dry under the fan in the living room 😛
“Chilly weather perfect for eating chillies” – hee hee….I never tot about it like that b4 but you are so right!!
Adrine, coz you don’t feel that hot eating spicy food in chilly weather hehe..
My area here is very chilly and very windy too. Love this type of weather.
I wish I were there instead of here where it is MINUS 20C, with windchill can be MINUS 30C!! Good time to clean out the freezer, just unload everything onto the patio! If temp in KL were in the 20s all the time, I’d move there in a heartbeat!
HI Chris, I wish I were living in your country! I’d love to be in the ‘freezer’ all the time 😉
