I have always loved tutus. I’ve always wanted a tutu dress when I was a kid but never had the opportunity to own one. Now that I have 3 girls, of which two are tutu lovers, I cannot be happier to buy them tutu dresses and tutu skirts. In Sherilyn and Cass’ wardrobe, they have at least 5 sets of tutu apparel each.
When I saw this kiosk that sells super cute tutus at Bangsar Shopping Centre yesterday, I knew I just had to buy one for Cass while she is still at the ‘wearable’ age for tutu skirts. I quickly got Cass to try on a few tutu skirts and tops and finally, after much difficulty deciding on which color to get for her (about half an hour trying and deciding!), I picked this set for her:
I wanted the tutu skirt in bright green with pink ruffles but Cass who is a die-hard pink color fan, chose the light pink one.
Sherilyn wanted the tutu skirt in orange and black but the only size left was M and the length was up to her butt only! She said that she could wear it with a legging. And she only wanted to wear it during Halloween at her tuition centre’s Halloween party, so I said NO to her. Well, had the tutu skirts been cheaper, I would have bought it for her though. At RM90 for each tutu skirt, would you buy? I think 80% of the cost of the tutu skirt would go towards the rent of the kiosk, which stands at RM17,000 per month! I know as I used to sell tutu skirts in my online store. Well, anyway, there is no regret getting this tutu skirt as Cass loves it to bits and so do I 😀
This picture was taken yesterday at Jungle Gym @ Bangsar Shopping Centre. The 2 sisters sending next to Cass are the daughters of my childhood friend. We were at Jungle Gym to attend another ex-classmate’s daughter’s birthday party.
