Today Alycia finally had the time to enjoy her breakfast leisurely without any rush to go to school, tuition, church or anywhere!  She took out a Babybel cheese from the fridge and a pack of Meiji crackers and cut the cheese into small pieces for her crackers. Then she called out to me… “mummy look, it’s awesome! See my heart-shaped cheese on crackers!”
It is heartwarming to see Alycia enjoying her food without any rush. For me, it was rushing off a breakfast as usual and I got ‘taxed’ by 2 rascals. I always get ‘taxed’ by rascal #2 and #3 for whatever I eat. Well, it is a blessing in disguise as I am ‘taxed’ of the calories too muahaha! And the 3 of us (Alycia, Cass and I) had a very leisure lunch of roast chicken and my mum’s chicken pie together just now. We needn’t have to rush off our lunch for the next activity. This is one of the things I enjoy during the school holidays.
