I’m back after being away and neglecting my blog for almost a week! We are still in Ipoh at my parents while the hubs and mil had returned to KL. This is the only time of the year where the girls and I can stay for so long in Ipoh. I have got a list of errands to run in Ipoh and have been attending to them everyday, where my dad is my chauffeur, how nice! But I better end this holiday soon as my customers have been chasing me for their orders. I even have a couple of persistent and irritating customers who called me up several times during my holiday, said unpleasant things and spoiled my holiday, sigh…
Anyway….. after indulging in crabs for a few days in a week plus sun bathing with the girls in the pool in the scorching hot sun for 2 days, I am now feeling really ‘heaty’…. throat and nose acting up now and am popping Esberitox and cooling drinks to cool my body down.
Here are some of the pix, taken in Penang over the weekend.
At Hai Nan Town Nyonya & Hainanese Restaurant @ Tg City Marina for lunch. We all love the asam pomfret fish and orange sorbet served at this restaurant.
Baby at the X-Ray Dept @ GMC Penang waiting for her turn for the ultrasound scan. Each time I bring her to this place, memories of May 2009 will haunt me, where she used to be wheeled into the X-Ray room everyday to do all sorts of scans, procedures and even a CT scan.
My brave Baby who was ever so brave, cool and nonchalant. She lay still on the bed throughout the ultrasound scan which lasted about 15-20 mins. The result of her R kidney remains good, PTL!
Rewarding Baby with the famous Ah Guan’s apom @ Burmah Road after the scan. I instructed the hubs to call Ah Guan to place order for 20pcs of apom the moment we reached Penang he he he… Ah Guan has newspaper cuttings and articles on him and his famous apom pasted on his decades-old beat up cart for all his customers to read.
… to be continued
