I had finished the last drop of baby oil but was feeling too lazy to find a plastic bag to store the empty bottle, to be placed in the recycling bin in the evening. So I conveniently threw it into the bin where we throw general rubbish. Before I dumped the empty oil bottle into the bin, I was very careful that my environment-loving 3.5YO girl did not see what I was about to do. I discreetly and quickly disposed the bottle and quickly walked away BUT too bad she somehow saw me in the act… and I felt so disgraceful to be caught red-handed by my 3.5yo daughter! How can this mummy not practice what she preaches? Shame on you mummy!! Anyway, I just knew what to expect from this super observant girl. My 3.5YO girl quickly checked the dustbin and shrieked “hey mummy, why did you throw the bottle away? You cannot throw empty bottles away. You have to RECYCLE!! Why throw away huh??” and then attempted to pick up the empty oil bottle from the bin before I stopped her and told her that I would do it LOL!! This toddler of mine is very civic minded and if she sees anyone in the house throwing empty bottles or clean papers away without separating them for recycling, we are bound to hear this girl nag and nag till no end. I am very convinced my Baby will make a very good class monitor in future.
Found this cute pic of Alycia (then 4.4YO) and Sherilyn (then 3.3YO) with Baby C at 1 month old when I was saving pix into my thumb drive last nite.
