Another Heart Stopping Moment

My little rascal flat lined my heartbeat today. I was busy working on my computer and then this rascal yelled out that she wanted to pee. I rushed to bring her to the bathroom. As we were walking to the loo, this rascal was rubbing her eye and told me that her eye was itchy. I checked her eye and gawd, my heart skipped a beat when I saw that the entire right eye, a quarter of the right face as well as her right hand were smudged with darn a lot of bright red ink. For a moment, I thought it was blood. Upon a closer look, I realized that it was red ink but ink from where, I had no idea. I dragged her to the wash area and kept washing her hand and face… with her yelling away for me to stop washing her face so hard. Thank God all the ink managed to come off after 5 minutes of washing and there was no irritation on the parts, especially her eye. I dare not imagine the consequences if the ink was from a leaking permanent red marker pen. What if the ink touched the eye ball? Oh gosh, it freaks me out just thinking about it. After reprimanding her, this vocal brat said this to me “mummy, I thought it was blood, luckily not blood” LOL!

Why We Love Wednesdays and Saturdays

My girls love Wednesdays and Saturdays. That’s because they are my Princess wannabe’s ballet class days. That’s when she gets to meet her fellow ballet classmates, who all seem to possess the same style and traits as her. They say birds of a feather flock together, how true this adage is haha!
For Alycia and Baby, they get to tag along and enjoy the 1 hour of eating, hanging around in 100 Yen Shop, shopping at our favorite bakery and shopping at the nearby mini market while waiting for Sherilyn. Even I look forward to Wednesdays and Saturdays!

These pix were snapped today, which is Sherilyn’s ballet day. After dropping Sherilyn at the dance centre, I did my usual errands – grabbed some good deals at Guardian Pharmacy, got some buns and cake at our bakery and did some grocery shopping at the nearby mini market.  Today, I was way too well prepared and brought along 4 shopping bags to put my stuff… after being caught with no plastic bags on a Saturday, twice!  Simple day for us but the girls enjoy themselves nonetheless. Happy Sunday peeps!

My gifts from above…

Pretty girls in pink…

Pretty and demure as they might appear, but really, they drive me up the wall the whole day. Everyday.

Slowly Turning Into A Clean Freak

My 7.5YO eldest girl is slowly turning into a clean freak… just like her mummy o_O ! These are some of the things that have become her habit now:
1) washes her hair twice a day, with shampoo. She steals my shampoo and conditioner too!
2) secretly applies daddy’s anti-deodorant on her clothes OMG!
4) secretly gargles our original flavor super spicy Listerine, albeit warnings to her not to. I caught her gargling with Listerine again just now. Oh yea, she can be just as stubborn as her mummy *oh no*
5) avoids eating durians lately, lest she has bad breathe *gasp!* This girl used to love durians but beginning this year, she’s started to avoid the king of fruits and king of beans – the stinky petai, which was once one of her favorites too
6) at times, steals my perfume and sprays on her clothes as she says her clothes smell musty
7) steals my face wash foam to wash her face
8) wipes her pencil case and school bag with wet tissues very often

and the list goes…
I wonder if she’ll turn into a full-fledge clean freak with numerous OCDs. I hope not. I used to be one hard-core clean freak before Cassandra was born. But when #3 came along, my life has been so hectic that I don’t have the time to check my maid’s work anymore. I used to check all the table tops and windows and would reprimand my maid if I see specks of dust! Now, it’s a completely different scenario. I can even sleep on a floor that has not been moped coz by the end of the day, I will be so jaded that all I can think of is only to lie down and close my eyes LOL!!

Pix of the bestest jie jie in the www with her baby sister. These 2 are inseparable, even during bedtime. In her sleep, Baby will walk to her che che and sleep next to her favorite che che, hugging her like a bolster.

Deep in slumberland, on her favorite che che’s lap…
