Dinner At Chinoz On The Park, KLCC

Last Friday, hubs brought us to Chinoz On The Park @ KLCC for a buffet dinner. While the ambience is 5 star (facing nice view of the KLCC fountains and park), fantastic display of food, I would rate the food 7/10. With that price for a buffet meal, I would rather go to Lemon Garden @ Shangri La Hotel KL.

We had sashimi… this is not included in the buffet spread.

Alycia and Sherilyn enjoying their spaghetti…

Maki and California rolls.  My girls just love these to bits but for me, I just don’t fancy eating rice + seaweed + cucumber.  I find it a weird combo.  I eat my California rolls without the rice 😀

The buffet spread included local delights,Western cuisine, a little bit of Japanese and Chinese cuisine.  Nothing really whet my appetite.  But this sinful carbo caught my eyes : sago pudding.  My mum can make very yummy sago pudding and I ate loads of it during my childhood.  I love my sago pudding with loads of fresh santan and gula melaka (coconut sugar), YUMS!!!  But darn fattening!!!

After dinner, we took some pix at the KLCC park.  A group of tourists from Iran stopped and asked me if they could take pix with my 3 angels :S

After the photography session, we did some grocery shopping at Cold Storage.  By the time we got into the car, the girls were so exhausted that they dozed off…. and when we got up to our unit, they plunked onto the couch and continued sleeping.  I had a hard time getting them to wash up and brush their teeth.   That’s why I never like bringing the kids out at night.
