Welcoming Baby’s Terrible Twos

Lately, Baby will throw herself onto the floor if her whims and fancies are not met. She’s the princess of the family. Everything that she wants, she gets it… most of the time but in times when we just can’t accede to her whims, she will bawl and plop herself onto the floor and then wail her lungs out.  Give her a forbidden item to distract her, you’ll be amazed that she can stop screaming and wailing instantly, as if I’d just turned off the radio and put on a cunning grin.

As her second birthday is fast approaching (April), all the Terrible Twos symptoms are slowly and surely rearing their ugly heads!!!

On another note, her vocab and speech are improving by the day. She can now speak in sentences. Some of her favorite sentences include “scared me!”, “I wan more”, “I wan peash”, “I wan go”, “mummy peash…. I wan” (begging me for something). She also likes to ask me “daddy where” and then answers me herself by saying “ofish” (office), “cheh cheh where” and answers me “skoo” (school), “nanny where, ko koong where” and answers me “Ipoh”, “ma ma where” and answers me “Ho Kong” (Hong Kong). When I ask her “where’s Baby“, she will say “HERE” aloud and point to her chest. She’s just too cute when she says that.

Though she is my big bag of stress and has recently caused  a return of my nagging backache, I still love her to bits.
