Cute Pokemon Mac N Cheese

This is the Pokemon mac n cheese that I bought from Jaya Grocer, which I cooked yesterday:

It’s pretty simple to prepare. First, boil the macaroni until soft. Drain the water. Add in the powdered cheese, some butter and fresh milk to the macaroni and mix well.

I cut out some Kraft singles cheese into Pooh Bear shapes and put on top of the mac n cheese to make it look more appealing and appetizing.

Verdict : tasted satisfactory. As I didn’t use the entire packet of cheese powder, the mac n cheese didn’t taste as good as it should.

To note : the mac n cheese should be served and eaten immediately once cooked…. when it’s still hot, otherwise they will turn hard, clumpy and starchy, which was the case as I had cooked it earlier and kept it for half an hour before Alycia ate it when she returned from her Mandarin enrichment class. Consequently, she didn’t quite like it and didn’t finish the plate of mac n cheese.

While Alycia and Sherilyn ate mac n cheese, Baby C ate apple porridge with 8 other ingredients.  Click here to see the apple porridge.

  1. Eh? I thought you’re supposed to cook the macaroni together with the cheese, butter and milk in the pot over fire to melt everything keh… I see here that you’ve merely poured the powder over and stirred. How the cheese taste like that?

  2. Sue… this Kraft mac n cheese is slightly different from the rest. I read the instructions over and over again. It says just pour the powder into the cooked macaroni and mix well… that’s it. No cooking of the powder/sauce is required.

  3. Yeah Sue, Kraft Mac n Cheese is slightly different. However, we would pre mix the powdered cheese, butter and milk (we would heat it slightly so that it’s ezier to mix) in the bowl first to form a smooth sauce. Then only would we put in the pasta and mix it all together. I dunno, Kevin likes it this way cos it doesn’t turn hard and lumpy. Maybe the girls might like that too! 😀

  4. lol winnie the pooh. i would cut them into the shapes of a pikachu. winnie the pooh and pokemon do not go together. definetly not. but still looks appetizing.
