My Princess Wannabe Brought Home A Princess Costume and Princess Clogs

Alycia and Sherilyn were finally back from their holidays in Hong Kong this afternoon. My princess wannabe regaled us non-stop with her tales in Disneyland. Remember the pictures of Alycia and Sherilyn taken in Hong Kong Disneyland that I posted earlier? In one picture Sherilyn wore a princess dress and princess clogs and I thought that my sil rented the costume from a costume stall just for the photography session. Know what? I was shocked when my princess wannabe fished the princess costume out from her luggage and proudly showed me the dress today. Sherilyn had asked my generous sil to buy the princess costume for her when they were in Disneyland. My sil obliged and spent a fortune on that costume. The Princess costume also comes with a pair of matching yellow color princess clogs.

After showing me her new pair of Princess clogs, Sherilyn walked to the storeroom where we keep our shoes and hunted for a nice spot to keep her Princess clogs! She has never ever been this responsible and has never once kept her shoes after wearing them. This clearly shows how much she loves her new Princess clogs. She’s super duper vain isn’t she? I admit I’m vain too but I can’t remember being this vain when I was 4 years old. I’ll bet Sherilyn will pester daddy or her koo ma to buy her a Stella McCartney handbag or some branded shoes and clothes 12 years down the road when she’s sweet sixteen and starts to get obsessed with branded stuff.

My princess wannabe showing off her new Princess clogs that her koo ma bought for her from Hong Kong Disneyland.

And this pair of pink Princess clogs were her Christmas gift from daddy last year. Oh dear, I wonder where she learnt this sexy pose from!

My princess wannabe proudly showing off her 2 pairs of Princess clogs with fur!  She even has the skill to hold and display her clogs so perfectly… vain, just like a model!  Check out her Paris Hilton sunnies on her head!  She’s absolutely besotted with this pair of sunnies and even brought it to Hong Kong.

Bamboo Charcoal Bread And Yam Kaya From Sbread

When I was having lunch at Gardens, Mid Valley the other day, I stumbled across a little store selling bread. Sbread only sells 3 types of bread, i.e. Bamboo Charcoal bread, black sesame seeds bread and multi-grain bread. They also sell homemade yam kaya and pandan kaya, cooked at the store itself.

From left : black sesame seeds bread, multi-grain bread and bamboo charcoal bread.

Bread and kaya for sampling.

The yam kaya and pandan kaya being cooked at the store.  The kaya is really tasty, rich, full of santan (coconut milk) taste and creamy.  I bought a jar of yam kaya.  The yam kaya has huge chunks of yam in it. Really yummy…. and fattening!

After sampling the bread and the delicious kaya, I bought half a loaf of black sesame seeds bread and half a loaf of bamboo charcoal bread.

Since I did not bring Baby C’s porridge along, I gave her some black sesame seeds bread to nibble on while the hubs and I had lunch at Canton-I.  I know, I know, by right I shouldn’t give her black sesame seeds as they are not digestible by a small baby’s guts…. shoot this mummy! The black sesame seeds came out in her poop the next day!

Verdict : will definitely buy the bread and both the kaya again.
