It was yet another eventful Valentine’s Day for us this year. It was really eventful and unforgettable for us last year as we spent our evening at the ER of the hospital with Sherilyn.
Alycia and Sherilyn refused to take their afternoon nap yesterday. By dinner time, they were both drained out and had exhausted their batteries. Alycia nevertheless finished her dinner without any fuss. She’s always been a good feeder and really nice to have her at the dining table. Sherilyn as usual spent over 2 hours at the dining table and when everyone else had finished their dinner, she was still sitting there, daydreaming with food stored in her mouth. It was almost 10pm then. After I had finished bathing Baby C, I stepped into the dining area and burst out laughing seeing Sherilyn’s head like a pendulum.  It’s amazing that she could auto balance her head and her body from falling off the chair even in her sleep LOL!  She had dozed off on the chair like this…..
Notice the mouthful of food stored in her mouth. I’m surprised the food did not fall out either ROTFL!
I quickly woke her up and told her to take her shower before we could cut the Valentine’s Day cake. Read the rest of the story HERE.

sher oh sher. won’t the food be cold after 2 hours? if she finishes her dinner around 10pm, what time does she go to bed? does she still drink her milk before that?
Barb….if she finishes her dinner late, then no milk b4 bedtime. We normally hv dinner at around 7pm and Sher will finish at around 9ish pm. They hv their milkie at around 10pm, then go to bed.
hehehe! Sher is so cute 🙂
Hahah..that’s cute. Wah, she can eat until 10-ish, meaning she goes to bed quite late ah, what time she wakes up in the morning?
With Shern, if he goes to bed anytime later than 9:30pm, I will have trouble waking him up for school the next day.
hahaha…..that was such a cute sight of her, LOL
taking such a long time to finish d meal really eats up a lot of patience on the mother i suppose….
btw, i like yr marble table….esp. d chair (can share where u got d them ahh), i’m looking at replacing our dining chairs!!
Haha great that you’re recording all this down. Show this to her when she’s a mother herself!!!
haha cute shot…. BTW I do find that some kid can eat faster if the rice and dishes are separated. Which mean 1 scoop rice than 1 scoop of dishes.
she must be real tired!
Happy Valentine’s day to you!
Oh dear, so tiring for you to finish up the meal…
