Online University Degree

When I had just left the corporate world, I almost signed up for an online course in early childhood education or Montessori teaching offered by one of the local universities. I had actually wanted to be a part-time pre-school teacher. With Baby C’s current health condition, I think I will only be able to fulfill this desire of mine or perhaps pursue an online university degree when her problem is resolved. I heard Capella University, a fully online university that is accredited is a good place for adults, particularly working adults to pursue their degree. Capella University currently has over 24,000 learners from all over the world and this university offers a wide variety of courses. If you’re thinking of pursuing an online degree, do check out the link above.

Our Sunday With My Parents And Friends

My parents from Ipoh came to visit me yesterday. Last night, my dad treated us to a sumptuous but exorbitant dinner at Imbi Palace. Today, hubby treated them for lunch at Duck King (hubby seems to like this restaurant a lot) at Jaya 1 PJ. Our friends also joined us for lunch (our yearly CNY reunion meal). There were 3 tables altogether.

After lunch, my parents left for Ipoh. Hubby brought me to Babyland to get my organic Mother’s Milk tea (yup, I am still swearing by this tea to help me lactate!). Also brought some fruits at the fruit stall located downstairs of Babyland. Fruits are terribly costly during the CNY. I spent RM90 just on fruits. I was so tempted to buy peaches coz my 3 gals love them but when I saw the price, I told myself it’s just not worth buying them. Would you spend RM5 on a medium size peach? Also wanted to buy some nectarines but it cost RM2.20 each so I ditched the idea of buying expensive imported fruits.  Ended up buying oranges, fragrant pears, red dragon fruits, kiwi fruits, 1/2 a cut pineapple, grapefruits and plums.

Next, we went back to Jaya 1 and spent an hour chit chatting with our friends at Starbucks. By the time we reached home, it was way past 4pm. My 3 gals were so tired that they knocked out like a piece of log like this:

Check out Sherilyn on the right lol!
