On her birthday, Alycia asked me what I was going to give her as her birthday pressie. I told her I will give her a hug and a kiss. She then said that she doesn’t want only a hug and a kiss. Then I asked her what she wanted and she said a lollipop! I almost wanted to burst out laughing coz that was such a naive answer. I wished she would want such a cheap birthday gift too when she grows up and not badger me to get her a brand new handphone or a laptop, an expensive watch or a LV handbag. And so lollipop it was that she got for her birthday present, on top of a Mickey & Friends birthday cake and a sugar-laden and chocolate-laden buffet lunch at Shangri-La Hotel, the venue that she picked.
Alycia and Sherilyn choosing their choice of lollipops at Lemon Garden Coffee House @ Shangri-La Hotel. It was the first time they tasted a lollipop coz their health freak mommy wouldn’t allow them to eat too much candies.
After lunch, Alycia got tired and she requested to sit on baby’s stroller. Here, she was pretending to have fallen asleep. Looks like this stroller is now being used more by Baby C’s 2 cheh chehs instead. Baby C prefers to be carried.
I told Alycia and Sherilyn that they cannot finish the entire lollipop in one sitting. After licking for about 5 minutes, I put the lollipop into a lunch box and stored them in the fridge. The next day, they finished the lollipop. Now, they are badgering me for more candies. I know it’s extremely hard to say no to my 2 very persistent brats who will keep bugging me. I would allow them to suck on candies for a few minutes, after which they have to spit it out into a bin and brush their teeth…. and the gals gladly abide to mummy’s request for they are afraid that they would lose their teeth. I’ve been frightening them all the time that all their teeth will fall out if they eat too much candies, chocolates and biscuits and don’t brush their teeth LOL!
