Packing, Moving And Blog Break…

Hubby gave me a shock when he told me a moment ago that TM will cancel my Streamyx connection today to facilitate the transfer of line to our new condo. He told me yesterday that he will only do the transfer later this week but now it’s today! Luckily I don’t have any outstanding offers to dish out for advertisers. Haiz….. I will definitely have withdrawal syndromes without the computer!

I don’t know how long it will take for the Streamyx to be up again at my new place. They said it will take 3 days but as usual, it will definitely take longer than 3 days… I can guarantee that, as sure as the sun rises in the east.   I hope it’s not going to be more than a week like what happened recently where I had to wait for 8 days and called them every hour of the day to breathe down their lazy necks …. knowing how inefficient TM is.

Oh yes, please DO MISS my blog k? *wink*

Baby C Can Remove Her Own Pants!

Several nights ago, after I had put on jammies on Baby C (long pants and short sleeved top with holes coz she sweats super easily even in an air cond room), I put her in her crib. I then went to the toilet. About 2 mintues later when I came out from the toilet, I saw Baby C’s long pants on her crib. This cheeky baby had apparently removed the pants herself! I thought the pants was a tad loose coz it was rather an old one (hand-me-down from Alycia and Sherilyn!), so I removed the old pants from the crib and put on a new long pants on her.

The next morning when I came back from jogging and heard her voice downstairs from the baby monitor, I went upstairs and saw her standing in her crib, looking at daddy who was sleeping on the bed next to her crib and guess what? Baby C had removed her pants herself again! She is just so cheeky and she reminds me of Alycia and Sherilyn when they were about Baby C’s age. They too found it very amusing to remove their own pants and top!

Does your baby like to remove his/her own pants or top too?

Caught with her pants down…. Baby C with a guilty yet smug look on her face.

I Need A Pedal Exerciser To Help Me Burn Some Extra Calories

It’s really frustrating for me as I weigh myself on the bathroom scale each morning. Despite me exercising everyday, the red needle just ain’t moving to the left. I am really tempted to buy a pedal exerciser so that I can exercise even when I am seated in front of my computer. The rotor Magneciser pedal exerciser is the perfect alternative to traditional stationary bikes. Whilst it helps burn off calories, it also helps to improve circulation, muscle strength, joint range-of-motion and coordination for the entire body. It is small, portable and lightweight and can even be placed under my computer table! I can move my legs even as I work on my computer.

Baby C A-Ok But Has A ‘Bungalow’ Behind Her Head

After the Humpty Dumpty fall yesterday, Baby C was fine.  No more vomiting, no altered mental status, no blurred vission, still as active and drinking her milk as usual.  But there was quite a bump on the back of her head 🙁    Was very whiny and wanted to be carried for the rest of the day (oh well, she always wants to be carried) and was latched on to my teats the entire night!!  We were both so sweaty in the aircond room coz body heat mar…. she was under my armpit the whole night treating my teats like her pacifier, a juicy one that is lol and her head was all wet with sweat…. whilst my jammies was damp too from her sweat as well as mine.  What a night!

Will continue to pack my stuff today.  I just don’t know how I am going to do anything with Baby C being so clingy.  I now have a phobia of leaving baby on the floor, for fear of hearing that ‘phop’ sound again if she falls again.  I hope my 2 older girls will help me entertain their baby sister whilst I pack my things.   Ok, nuff said, going for my jog now before my 3 monkeys are up.

Humpty Dumpty Had A Great Fall

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again

That’s Baby C’s favorite song for the past several days and it is by singing this song complete with actions that manages to stop Baby C from fussing when I feed her her daily antibiotics. So much of me singing this song, today someone had a great fall like Humpty Dumpty, well maybe not that a great fall but it sent everyone, especially my mil into panic mode coz there was immediate puking!! …. which sent hubby and I with that someone to the A&E of the hospital this afternoon.

I’ll update this accident in my health blog later today when I have the time.  Stay updated k!

Finally Packing My Stuff

We will be moving to our new condo in less than a week’s time and today I’ve finally moved by butt and started packing.  I first started to clear my wardrobe and when I realized that I have so many XS size clothes that I can’t possibly squeeze my new frame into (oh well, I don’t think I will ever be able to squeeze into them again, period), I half heartedly decided to give them away.  Most of them were bought from MNG, Elle, Zara and heaps of Edmund Ser office suits, jackets, pants and dresses bought during my corporate days. Gone are my XS size frame days, sob sob….. I am now officially an ‘aun-tee’ with an aun-tee figure too 🙁

I have also packed a bag of baby clothes for a blogger mom who said she doesn’t mind the hand-me-downs for her baby girl.  Some of the baby clothings are brand new.

3 bags of clothings to give away – 2 bags of office wear and my sexy, skimpy XS size tops and a bag of baby clothes.

3 more boxes of old clothes to give away but no time to sort them out yet.

I will have lesser time to blog for the next few days as I will be busy packing my stuff.  It’s not easy to pack as Baby C is always whining and fussing as she hates to be ignored.  She wants to be carried or be placed on the floor to crawl but it’s quite impossible to do that if I want to pack my stuff.  Our official moving date will be next Friday and I will take a few days of blog break to move and unpack our stuff.
