Powdery Fun

I was busy nursing Baby C and Sher was playing by herself 2 days ago. All of a sudden, I smelled something familiar, something nice…. the scent wafted through the air from the dining area to the living room where I was seated and there was silence at the area where Sher was playing.  I knew instantly that Sher was up to mischieve again and was certain she was playing with talcum powder.  I rushed up to the dining area and saw Sher pouring lots of powder all over her body and face.  I was fuming mad but when I saw how ridiculous Sher looked with her face covered with talcum powder, I wanted to burst out laughing but suppressed the laughter and tried to put on an angry face.  Gave Sher a warning and quickly took out my camera and started snapping away….

A Beautiful Beach Side Wedding

A good friend of mine who is staying in Saipan, one of the islands in the United States had a beautiful beach-side wedding recently. I am sure it is every girl’s fantasy to have such a romantic wedding by the beautiful beach. The backdrop of the wedding was magnificent with a beautiful orangy-greyish sky during sunset, lovely sea and white sandy beach. There were white canopies with pretty white and pink color satin drapes and there were beautiful fresh flowers decorated everywhere. The bride and groom also wore pretty garlands made of lovely white flowers. Too bad I could not fly to the island to attend the lovely wedding reception last month.

Safe Up There

That’s where we placed the bouncinet with Baby C sleeping on it – on the crib so that she will be out of bounds from her 2 rambunctious sisters, especially Sherilyn.

When I tried putting the bouncinet with Baby C sleeping on it on the floor yesterday, Sherilyn the rascal couldn’t keep her hands off Baby C and kept touching her sister, kissing her, bouncing the net and she even crawled under the bouncinet!  Can you just imagine what would have happened if no one was watching and she stood up from under the bouncinet?  Unimaginable!  I had to drag Sherilyn out from under the bouncinet and warned her never to do that again.

Alycia just could not resist touching her little sister’s head by climbing on a stool to reach her baby sister.

That’s How Sher Eats Her Cheese

That’s how Sher eats her cheese. She tears the slice of cheese into tiny pieces, then she tells me what each piece of cheese looks like….. she would tell me if it is a triangle, square or rectangle or whether the cheese looks like a tiger, a chicken or a dinosaur, etc. LOL! Then she would put each tiny bit of cheese into her mouth and enjoy her cheese.

I think most kids love cheese. Alycia and Sherilyn love cheese to bits, especially Laughing Cow and Happy Cow triangle wedges and Laughing Cow party cubes. They can finish the entire box in just 2-3 days. But I’m really not too keen in feeding them with cheese everyday. If you read the labels, you will notice that cheese is loaded with sodium, nitrates (preservative), coloring, flavoring and other food additives. The only cheese that I know of that’s free from preservative and low in sodium is Babybel cheese but my gals don’t really like it coz it’s a tad bitter and hard too.

Beastly Father

Reading the recent news on the dirty old man who imprisoned his own daughter in a hidden bathroom of their home and repeatedly raped her for close to 20 years made me disgusted and loathe at the thought of it. He even fathered a few children with his own daughter over the years. All the children were born in the bathroom of the house, which is like a dungeon and a living hell. That’s just so unimaginable. I wonder what the kids call him – daddy or grandpa! And I wonder if his children are normal, both physically and mentally. They have never seen sunlight or the darkness of the night. They have also never had contact with the outside world, apart from their own mother and their beastly father. It was reported that all his children have never gone out of the house and have been imprisoned in the bathroom of the house all their lives.  Some of his children are already in their teens. That dirty old man’s behavior is worse than that of an animal.

This shocking case was only unveiled when one of his children fell gravely sick and had to be hospitalized. It was then that his daughter managed to secretly let out the horrifying news to the doctors and called for help. This dirty old man really deserves to be imprisoned for life and be whipped. I wonder why this dirty old man have been so horny all his life to the point that he even had the heart to imprison and rape his own daughter of all woman. He must have bought some cheap Viagra to raise himself and to get some cheap pleasure but for Pete’s sake, why did he have to do that to his own daughter?

Baby C @ Day 20… And Enjoying Her Bouncinet

That’s Cassandra @ day 20 and this was the first time we put her on the comfy bouncinet.

Cassandra now spends more time awake and demands that she be carried or talked to. This morning I did not know what she wanted. I had nursed her and had talked to her for quite some time but when I placed her back in her crib, she started to whine “eeeee eeeee aaaaaaa aaaaaaaa” again. However, the moment I placed her on the bouncinet and bounced the net gently, she stopped whining and was instantly lulled to sleep. I guess the crib must have been too hot for her to fall asleep.

“Blue eyes…. babies have blue eyes….”
That’s one of my favorite songs. Sher commented that Baby C has blue eyes, which is quite true. I notice many babies tend to have light blue eyes but the tinge of blue gradually turns white as the baby grows too.

I can only place Cassandra on the bouncinet when both Alycia and Sher cheh cheh are asleep, otherwise, they will surely bounce baby off the net.

As I am typing this post, Cassandra is fast asleep in her comfy bouncinet. Daddy had brought Alycia and Sher to Mega Kidz @ Mid Valley this morning and will be back anytime. I better get my forty winks now before the 2 rambunctious monkeys are back. My urut lady is also coming at 3pm for my 2nd session of urut.
