8 Long Days And Still No Internet Yet

Can you beat it? The broadband internet has been disconnected from my house for 8 days and there is still no sign that it will be up again. I have stolen 2 hours again, to go to hubby’s office to complete an assignment. I tell you, i am REALLY REALLY pissed off with Telekom. I have been calling Telekom every 2-3 hours for the last 7 days and when I could no longer tolerate hearing their same old lame excuses anymore, I told them yesterday that I will publish this matter in my websites. Today, the technical department of Telekom called to inform me that my Streamyx should be up but my fixed phone line is still down, thus I still can’t access internet. Though I have already lodged a report on the faulty phone line, no one came or called me…. and I am calling every 2-3 hours again to press them to speed up the matter.  See how efficient our government is! I am SO DARN PISSED OFF right now!

Sylvania HDTV

Having heard so much about LCD HDTVs and their Clear Pix Technology that will bring about an incredible high-definition picture, hubby and I are considering buying an LCD HDTV. There are so many brands of HDTVs around these days. Many friends recommended the Sony HDTV while others gave their thumbs up on other brands like Toshiba and Panasonic. One friend recommended the sylvania HDTV, which is a full HD technology TV at a bargain price. I’ve not heard of this brand before but I’ve been told that the U.S. made Sylvania brand of HDTV is much cheaper than the rest of the more well-known brand of HDTVs.  If you are looking for a reasonably priced HDTV too, you can read about the Sylvania HDTV at Krillion.com.

Baby Sling

Ever since I bought a baby sling from The Baby Loft shop 2 weeks ago, I have not really used it yet. That’s because I don’t really know how to use it! I just seem to have a phobia wearing Baby C like this. I keep having morbid thoughts of her dropping out from the sling and her body and head getting ‘senget’ (crocked) sleeping all curled up in the sling.
BTW, is this the correct way of putting a baby in the sling?  Why is the baby at my belly level when I stand up? Isn’t it supposed to be higher, i.e. near the boops? And why is Baby C’s legs pushed up and her head senget, in a way that she is all curled up (like a baby inside the womb)? I hope I did not put her wrongly in the sling. Need advice from experienced mummies who carry their babies in slings.
