Alycia’s Drawing vs. Sher’s Drawing

This is Sherilyn’s drawing, which is a copycat of Alycia’s.  Sher loves drawing and writing using pens.

And this is Alycia’s drawing.  The picture in orange color is her version of an elf.   Alycia loves drawing with color pencils and all her drawings are multi colored.  Luckily both the gals love drawing, coloring and writing and I don’t really need to coerce Alycia to do her homework.  She’s even more ‘kan cheong’ than me sometimes when it comes to completing her homework.  One time I had even forgotten to remind her to complete her Mandarin homework, shame on me mummy!

The Power Of Chandeliers

Chandeliers can really add a touch of sophistication to a place that has simple decor. Chandeliers always look grand, elegant and expensive, though they may not necessarily cost a lot. Wacky Pregnancy Hormones

I had 6.5 hours of sleep last night.  When I sat in front of my computer after breakfast this morning, my eyes drooped and my mind was shut instantaneously. I took a 20-minute nap after breakfast. Now, it’s 2pm and as I’m typing this, I can barely open my eyes and my mind is about to go blank. I think I need another 20 minutes of forty-winks now. This pregnancy, I feel sleepy all the time. When I wasn’t pregnant, I had very high energy levels. I would wake up at 5:30am to blog every morning and then go for a run round the neighborhood or at the park for at least 30 minutes everyday. I hardly feel sleepy though I only have 5 hours of sleep everyday and I don’t nap in the afternoon. These wacky pregnancy hormones are also making me feel moody all the time. I’m here counting my days to my big day, just can’t wait to see my baby and get over with all these wacky pregnancy hormones…. once and for all.

My cousin went to the U.S. to further her studies last December. Being the only child, my aunt misses her so terribly that she calls her almost every other day. I was shocked when my aunt told me that her phone bill exceeds five hundred Ringgit every month and that’s just her phone bill alone. She also has to pay my cousin’s mobile phone bill in the U.S. which also runs into the hundreds every month. How Long Did You Refrain From Washing Your Hair During Confinement?

During my first confinement, I refrained from washing my hair for 2 days and I surrendered. I then washed my hair every other day. On the days that I did’t wash my hair, I felt terribly hot and uncomfortable.  During my second confinement, I also refrained from washing my hair for 2 days and thereafter, I washed it everyday (albeit discreetly), but with ginger water and quickly blew dry it after the wash. During my first confinement, I got really depressed on the days that I could not wash my hair as I was sweating all the time, eating all the piping hot and heaty food, with lots and lots of ginger, wine and DOM. Thinking of it now makes me feel sweaty too!

Simple Lunch

That was my lunch yesterday – croissant stuffed with sardines, mayo, tomato ketchup and lots of Japanese cucumbers. I don’t have appetite to eat heavy meals these days.  Even sitting at the dining table feels uncomfortable as my bulging tummy will be pressed against the table.  I can’t even reach out to the dishes on the table  without standing up.  

Chin Nee, I just wonder how you’re going to handle when you’re 36 weeks preggers with your twins.  I think you will need to eat your meals on the couch and sit up when you sleep.
