I have recently developed these tiny red and itchy pregnancy rash on my belly. The rashes tend to flare up and become red when I am hot and sweaty. They are rather itchy and if I scratch them, the itch is even more intense. I try hard not to scratch them but when they are really itchy, I rub the area with my knuckles. I read that scratching the belly will cause stretch marks. Keeping the area moisturized will also prevent the itch. I use Palmer’s cocoa oil, baby oil and pure Vitamin E oil.
Do you have these rashes too during your pregnancy?

i used to have these rashes when i was about 4 mths preggy. it itches like mad, no amount of cocoa butter cream or oil and soothe it.
you’ve got a nice preggy belly, no stretch marks. Not even the visible dark colored line.
i didnt have such rash. i think ur skin is really dry. those oil helps..
yeah you are right, scratching causes stretch marks too. I have quite a few, and I’m really lucky having a few only…or else maybe I can’t do belly dancing.
off topic: I didn’t do anything with both my blogs, i was even surprised that pr came back. i totally don’t understand how google does it so i’m not doing anything. i have this funny feeling the google is doing the pr raise by sked. maybe on the next months i will be back to 0, im expecting it already. it’s hard to play by their rules…or do they have one?
not too bad, only some rashes n ur skin is a bit dry. no worry as it will get well after delivery.
yes i do have the rashes inbetween my breast durong pregnancy esp if i take seafood or peanuts. just put bedak sejuk or calamine lotion . i find cream like baby lotion or coca butter makes it worse. but it helps over stretch marks area.
I had this problem during my 1st pregnancy. The itch is unbearable even I put all sort of creams given by my gynae. At one stage I told my hub, can I have the baby out early cos I just couldn’t stand anymore. But surprisingly after my C-section, the itch stop immediately. I also can’t explain why or maybe it could be the hormone.
