Everyone knows how expensive it is to own and maintain a car. I used to spend between RM700 – RM900 per month on car maintenance when I was still working. Now, I don’t work and I don’t really need a car, thus I have no more woes on maintaining a car. I remember a couple of years ago, I spent close to RM4,000 when the engine of my car malfunctioned. As I was entitled to a car allowance from the company I worked for, I replaced the engine with a brand new engine. If I get myself a car now, I will definitely be more penny-wise since I am no longer working. Should I need to change the car engine, I will get a used engine instead as I found out that I can buy affordable, clean, test-driven and inspected used engines that are under warranty from midwest auto recycling, the specialist in used car engine.
