After watching ‘Rich Bride Poor Bride’ and repeats of a short documentary on makeover on TV, Sherilyn has been practicing her beautician and hairdresser skills on me. Whilst I sit in front of the computer typing, she loves climbing on a stool to comb and ‘wash’ my hair. Next, she would bring a tiny toy cup and pretend to dab her forefinger on the cup, then dab my eyelids as if applying eye-shadow on my eyelids. She also loves to watch intently how I apply make-up on my face.
That little vain post seems to show great interest in cosmetology. Perhaps she may even go to a beauty school in future to take up a course in cosmetology and land herself a salon job from beautyjobs.com or a professional make-up artist job. Of course I would very much want her to go to university and graduate with a degree but if her interest lies in cosmetology, I suppose I should let her choose what she loves best for she will surely excel in something that she has passion in.
