Battery-Operated Toothbrush

Finally got a battery-operated toothbrush for Alycia and Sherilyn and they simply adore their new gizmo.  It’s been 5 days since I got them this and they have never been so interested and enthusiastic in brushing their teeth the whole day.  Now, Alycia does not puke anymore when I brush her teeth in the morning.  Instead, she is grining from cheek to cheek throughout the teeth-brushing session.

Hubby had wanted to buy them an Oral B battery-operated toothbrush but it costs RM100 each and I told him it’s not necessary to buy such expensive tool for a toddler!  Let them try a cheaper one first and if they like it, we can change to Oral B next time as the brush head is replaceable.  This Colgate one only costs RM29.90 but the brush head is not replaceable.  So once the brush head is worn out, we will have to discard the whole toothbrush.

Technology really does wonders and kids really need some cool toys to keep them motivated and interested in doing something that they hate!

  1. Electric toothbrush kinds of freak me out. I just don’t understand how can one clean properly with that thing. Anyway one of the pleasant moment in brushing teeth is when I move my hand to reach the back and the hard to reach part of the teeth, kind of freaky for me to imagine that battery powered brush will touch that part. Guess I am way too backward :D.

  2. those are cute, but i didnt buy it cos the head is irreplaceable. that oral B one is really too pricey. so shern must be thankful mommy can afford him watson brand. haha..

  3. Is it true that Alycia no longer puke with that toothbrush?? Then, I might get one for my boys as well. Jona always dislike brushing his teeth and always ‘pretend’ puke……so, this might motivate him…..

  4. Mamajo… yes, it’s true. Alycia doesn’t puke anymore whenever I brush her teeth with this electric toothbrush. She loves brushing teeth now!
