Let Me Call Daddy

This morning as we were preparing for breakfast, Sherilyn was looking for her favourite orange plastic bowl. She hunted for it everywhere but could not find it. Minutes later, she ran to the hall, climbed up a chair and began ‘dialling’ the phone.
I saw her in a ‘conversation’ with daddy asking daddy if he has seen her orange bowl and then ‘chatted’ with daddy, giggling all the time. About 2 minutes later, she ended the call by saying “bye daddy, gud nite” and put the receiver back.

  1. Cute little darling! She can really fantasize. at least she’s able to solve her problem without troubling mummy to find her bowl!Incredible!

  2. Chin Nee & Leena… no lar, Sherilyn doesnt know how to dial the correct numbers yet. She just pretended to dial.

Granny… yup, the gals are really good with their imagination.

  3. Hi–I have the same question as Shern’s Mom—was she calling for real? Either way, it sounds like she’s really getting the hang of using the phone! So sweet.

  4. Yes it would be cool if she can call for real. Sweet daughter you have 🙂
Perhaps you can teach her to press the redial or memory button to automatically call daddy 😉
    Just one button and voila

  5. Err..not sure if you wanna teach them how to call. Because…I taught Tee how to press speed dial on my phone to call her Daddy and Nana so she can leave me alone sometimes but now everyday, call a few times and talk grandmother stories leh…Phone bill escalating. And she’s not even a teenager yet!

  6. kids imagination can be cute…makes our heart melt. that’s a nice gesture, you know instead of whining and all
